I recently picked up a refurbished, open-box PS5 DualSense controller from Best Buy, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed. The controller arrived in near-perfect condition—no scratches, no fading, and all the buttons felt crisp and responsive right out of the box. It’s clear that Best Buy’s Geek Squad refurbishment process is thorough; the controller felt almost as good as new. Of course, being open-box, I was a bit wary about battery life. After a few days of gaming, though, it held up just as well as a brand-new one. The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are still incredibly immersive, and the built-in mic works perfectly. Best Buy even included a standard warranty, so I feel confident it’s a solid investment. If you’re on the fence about getting a used controller, I’d say go for it—especially from Best Buy. The value you get, combined with the peace of mind of a warranty, makes this a top-tier deal. I’m a happy gamer!

Controller feels nice and smooth and has lasted a good while now I did get some stick drift early on.

Use it to game on my pc with wirelessly or wired. Its just more familiar to me and ergonomics than keyboard & mouse. Plus i like the variable triggers, haptic feedback in games and audio ques output by the controller in capable games and long play time. Already owner of the cosmic red and now galactic purple as the colors are so beautiful and natural

Awesome remote. Way better than my older ones that had stick drift. Color looks awesome also. Gray is the newer year model made if you look up production dates.

The controller definitely surpassed our expectations as far as the color, being easy to use, and the over quality of the product itself. Will definitely purchase again when we are in the market for a new controller.

I jumped and purchased this controller when I saw it on sale. I needed a second controller, I love the color of this one. It’s no different from the control that comes with the console so you’ll know what to expect if you’ve had your hands on one before. Same awesome build quality and comfort. The triggers on this one make a noticeable audible click when the control rumbles. Makes me wonder if something is loose inside, but it’s fine. Great battery life, the haptic feedback is amazing. Charges with a usb c cable which isn’t included in the box. So be prepared to supply yourself with another. All in all, I think this control is worth the money, especially if on sale!

The Midnight Black finish is stunning. It gives the controller a stealthy, premium look that feels more grown-up and matches my gaming setup perfectly. It’s not just beautiful, it’s practical—the matte texture resists fingerprints and provides a nice grip. The built-in microphone and improved speaker are great additions too. I can chat quickly without a headset, and the sound design in certain games really comes alive through the speaker.
