This would be a one star if the review was for this controller specifically. I had Sony replace this cause I got drift 6 months into my relationship with it. I’ve had all iterations of the PlayStation and these controllers are the biggest offenders of stick drift.

The color really pops and it's also really durable. Compared to the dual edge the it has a bigger battery also so it definitely doesn't die as quickly as the edge.

I have both a PS5 and a Series X. In past generations, for multi-platform games I always went with Xbox since I have an Elite Series 2 controller which makes all the difference. While I still wish Sony would release their own version of a pro controller, the DualSense is their best step yet in closing the gap, to the point that I now alternate games I can play on both between the Series X and PS5. Build, weight, and feel are all drastically improved. Only issue to me is that battery life is still lacking - the Elite 2 can be used for 2 weeks between charges. Well done Sony.

Bought this for myself for Christmas. Got it on half off for Cyber Monday sale. I love the color. It's not just purple, it's Galactic Purple. The texture is smooth. I prefer this controller over the white one. Buttons are flawless especially when you need to press the same button multiple times during a game.

This thing has a mic AAAAAND a speaker??! Craaazy! Haptic feedback controls are amazing per game. Games that take advantage of the features are the best!

To be honest it’s just a regular PS5 control. I liked the color so I bought it. I sold my white one to help pay for this one.
