I've been using this DualSense controller for a while now, and it has been fantastic. The Midnight Black color looks even better in person and gives the controller a sleek, premium feel compared to the standard white version. Connectivity has been flawless whether I'm using it on PS5 or connecting to other devices. Pairing is quick, and I've never experienced disconnects, lag, or any other connection issues. It just works every time. The controller is also very comfortable to hold during long gaming sessions. The buttons feel responsive, the sticks are smooth, and everything still feels solid after regular use. Overall, this is one of the best controllers I've owned. Great design, excellent performance, and zero issues with reliability or connectivity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add a little style to their setup while getting the quality Sony is known for.

The dual sense controller for the PS5 is what won me over from being an xbox fanboy since my original xbox. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers were not something that i considered a selling point prior to actually experiencing these features, but they really do add something to the experience of playing a ps5 game. While this controller is a better experience vs the same ol' from MS, 2 drawbacks to be aware of... the battery life is unacceptably short for a "next gen" controller. My G502 Lightspeed gaming mouse gets me 70-80 hours of usage time on a charge, and the dual sense barely musters 6ish hours... also, while this controller can take a couple drops in stride, if you are too rough on it, they're prone to stick drift.

I recently purchased the black PS5 controller and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. The matte black finish looks clean and sleek, and it feels premium in your hands. The grip is comfortable, even during longer gaming sessions, and the buttons are very responsive. Bought this not for a PS5, but to replace a broken Dualshock 4 I had for my PC (didn't want to move my other DS from my PS4). So far it's integrated well with Steam and the only problems I've had are just games that haven't integrated it well with their PC version (Destiny 2 thinks it's an XBox controller, while No Man's Sky picks it up as a Dualsense with no issue). Heavier feel, more durable and feels better in the hand than the DS4 does - now the latter feels lighter and more fragile as a result. All Sony needs to do is to get that haptic feedback for the triggers to PC APIs and it will be perfect

Looks great and works perfectly. The purple controller has a nice vibrant color and feels comfortable in hand. Buttons are responsive, battery life is solid, and it paired easily. Great quality and a fun upgrade to my setup.

I bought this because it's all black and cool and also my old one has a stick drift problem. I tried to fixed the problem many times and sometimes it work and it keeps happening eventually. So this new controller is a game changer.

I absolutely loved this controller, before someone stole it. It was my favorite color, was easy to use, gave fun tactile motion feedback, charged quickly and was just fun! Theives suck, but this controller sure didn’t.

Works great! I bought this while on sale to replace an old one that had stick drift. I purchased the warranty so that if I have any issues down the line, I can just bring it in and have it replaced at no extra cost. I love shopping at Best Buy!

My daughter loves this controller. It does fit the hands really well and works really well. It connects extremely easy and the charge is pretty good.

I love the color of this controller. It is such a nice blue. The DualSense itself is the best first party controller out there. I also use it with my PC.

Looks cooler in person. Don’t be afraid of the pink color. My opinion the coolest looking controller out of all the PS5 controllers. Feels great in the hand and plays great. Did some research myself on this series of controllers and PS5 did make improvements on the longevity pertaining to stick drift. The controller colors pink, purple and light blue are the ones with stated improvement if you were to look into it yourself. Quality product through and through I’m happy with purchase.

Unlike other reviews on this platform, I figured I’d do a two years later review on this controller. It has was the test of time, with no major issues. The only real issue I’ve ran into is the Thumb stick caps, wearing down a bit, and some of the rubberized coating wearing down slightly on the back. I’ve used it with a PS five, steam deck, Lenovo Legion, and Now a ROG Ally X. I used to use an Xbox 360 controller back in the day for everything, but Sony’s new controller has definitely taken the cake for my go to gamepad. The Xbox controller that needed new batteries, this one still holds a very respectable charge, granted after two years of hard use I’m debating throwing a new battery in. But for the equivalent of $35 a year and having basically zero issues, it’s a very cost-effective solution for a gamer.
