This is the best controller since PS2. The Ps3 and PS4 controller sucked! All it took was a little design theft from Xbox and we have a winner. Calm down ponies! literally every console has stolen the Xbox design, it just works and that's facts. So tone down your little console waring mind and grab reality by the horns and walk in sanity with the rest of of that realize: "There is no war" you should own all consoles. I actually think this controller is great! Still not as good as an Xbox Elite 2 controller but great in it's own right. Triggers feel great, holding it doesn't make you feel weird like the PS4 controller did. I was so glad Astro made a controller for PS4, Phew... saved that console. Anyways the color on this controller is better than the standard white as it give you throwback feels. Where Sony stands out is the speaker and mic on the controller. Oh you thought I would say Haptic feed back? Yeah no, not new bro Xbox has had haptic feedback since 2013, the devs just didn't use it outside of games like Forza. Sony took that too and practically used it in all games. But for us that turned it off we never cared about it. Should you get this? 100% yes either this or the read. I haven't used the standard white since I got this six months ago. If you leave this review thinking I'm knocking Sony, I'm not. I'm real and if you can't stand truth then you're the problem. LOL Go get this already!

Had my last controller break on me during an intense gaming session, this one feels better then the controller that came with my console and has the added effect of being an amazing shade of purple! Love it.

The PS5 controller is hands down one of the best controllers I have ever used. It feels solid and well built in your hands, with a comfortable grip that makes long gaming sessions easy and enjoyable. I recently purchased the Sony - PlayStation 5 - DualSense Wireless Controller in Midnight Black and I am blown away by its performance! The controller is extremely comfortable to hold and use, and the haptic feedback is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. It adds a whole new level of immersion to my gaming experience. The controller's design is sleek and modern, and it feels very sturdy and well-made. The buttons are responsive and the triggers have a satisfying amount of tension. The built-in microphone and speaker are a nice touch, and they work great for in-game communication. One of the things I love most about the DualSense controller is the Adaptive Triggers. They allow me to physically feel the tension of a bowstring, the resistance of a car's accelerator, and much more. It adds a level of realism to my gaming that I have never experienced before. Great color probably my favorite color PlayStation has came out with. Had it for over a year and still no stick drift works perfect and one of my favorites to pick up and play with!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, who treats PS5 controllers like they owe him money. Given his level of “enthusiasm” when he uses them, I was honestly impressed this one lasted a little over two years. I just replaced it with a new controller purchased directly from the PlayStation store, so now we’re running a bit of an unofficial durability experiment. There’s been talk that controllers not bought directly from PlayStation don’t hold up as well, so we’ll see if there’s any truth to that. Whichever one survives the longest round in this household will definitely earn my future business. Quick breakdown: Value: Around $80 like most PS5 controllers, so pretty standard across the board. Quality: Lasted a little over two years under some very “enthusiastic” use before the internal sensors finally waved the white flag. Ease of Use: Exactly what you’d expect from a PS5 controller—no learning curve here.

This controller blows the DualShock 4 from the PS4 out of the water. The DualSense controller is lightweight, durable, sleek, and has amazing response time with unique haptic feedback on the triggers that make it feel like you are actually shooting a gun in Call of Duty. The X O Square and Triangle design pattern is minuscule and all over the back of the controller, which is a very cool and small added incentive.

Really great controller. Doesn't have the same stick drift issues my launch ps5 controller does. Color is really nice. Controller is comfortable and the build quality is mostly great. Only issue I have is certain face buttons feel a bit sticky, even when the controller was new. And the D-pad is really mushy. Not a controller I'd recommend for 2D games or games with D-pad centric mechanics. Played Demon's Souls, The Last of Us, and Horizon Forbidden West with this controller and they all played great. No lag or delay. Recommended, but I also feel it can be too expensive considering the extra you're paying for it to be purple.

The control is great it fits perfectly in my hands while I am playing. The battery life is good on the controller. I wish I would have bought the charger for it but I will get one later I just use the cable that came with the PS5 or I use the cable from my Samsung phone to charge the control the best thing they did was going to usb-c. I used it to play Astrto's play room and the different things you can do with it compared to the older controllers really blows my mind. The one recommendation I can say make sure you turn the mic off on the controller I started a game of Overwatch not knowing the MIC from the controller was active until my daughter told me it was registering on the converstations.

I always liked the PlayStation controller and this red color is great to look at. Best Buy’s has there insurance for the controller which is great because the ps5 controller does have a short life span depending on how active a gamer but thanks to the insurance I don’t have to worry about stick drift.

This was my second ever ps5 controller and it was just as good as the original one or if not better. I love the all black to it, it just makes it look so clean. For the most part it was fine and did what any controller is suppose to do till a few months later it started to have stick drift issues like they’re commonly known for. I took it apart myself to clean the sticks multiple times and it would fix it for sometime but ultimately it’s not permanent. Definitely recommend the midnight black for anyone considering.
