For an average player, its useful life is approximately 6 months

While Sony does not provide windows drivers, some third party apps - DSX on Steam, and Steam itself expand support and you can play pretty much any game with it. With the software you can make the trackpad work as a mouse too. While you can play games with software (using emulation-pretending to be an xbox controller), this does mean it is not recognized and the on screen controlls and everything will reference an xbox controller and buttons.

I would definitely be buying more of these and recommending them to everyone I know. 5 stars from the product to the people at Best Buy who sold it to me
