Works just as expected. It is the next gen controller. It is light weight and sturdy. Battery last a good 2 or 3 days based on your gaming length each session. If you're playing a couple games here and there, you won't need to charge it. If you're spending 6-8 hours straight playing a game, you will need to charge it daily. Overall, it's worth every dollar to buy one.

Works just as you’d expect. Has had some heavy use and drops by my son but it’s holding up well with good battery life. We play without vibration.

WOW! This is fantastic tech. I'm coming from the Xbox One X with the original Elite controller and I can say this controller is a leap in gaming immersion. I would say that I haven't experienced any drift and I have had the PS5 console from its initial release date. No problems with the DualSense controller for me. I do try not to be too rough with it as gaming can get passionate for me!

I'm a PC gamer, but I'm pretty lazy. I sit in a desk at my office for hours, and I'm not too keen on sitting in a desk at home to play GOW or TLOU. Get yourself one of these & a usb bluetooth dongle, and enjoy the comforts of console gaming from the couch with the performance benefits of using a PC. As for the controller itself, its a little on the smaller size if you have large hands (I personally have to use XL sized nitrile gloves, for example) but the non-slip texture is great for sweaty hands. The touchpad is a pleasant surprise feature, as if you use it on a PC it'll default to mouse input, so you don't have to keep a mouse & mousepad handy to open applications. Otherwise, idk what its for. Very minimal dead space on the joysticks, and I haven't noticed any snapback issues. The triggers/bumpers have a long range of travel compared to when a button press is registered, but it doesn't cause too much of a distraction (in my opinion. My review).

My son really appreciated that I got him an additional controller

Love the way these controllers look and extremely comfortable to use for extended play sessions but where the PS5 controllers in general lose points is durability. They are extremely fragile and I have already had to repurchase multiple replacements. Great controller just handle with care. The cost is also another mark against them as they are quite expensive for being so cheaply made. The PS4 generation controllers are far more durable.

Frustration day 1 with purchase process, but not cool Wireless Purple PS5 Controllers. They seem to be 5 STAR CONTROLLERS. My question and day of delivery frustration was about ITEM NOT INCLUDED “THE CHARGING CORD!” Why oh why did it not come with a cord for charging? Did no one think of including this necessary accessory with each high dollar gadget replacement. Thought these issues were a thing of the past. It arrives and of course my Grandson is looking at me like “Hello Grandma?” So i spend the usual fun process of surprising him with a present he wants, I immediately have to begin digging around for a compatible Microport compatible Generation 3 Type C charge cord for one and then the other so brother can play also. I felt like i was in a Classic Christmas Morning Scene from 10+ years ago withthe early morning presents being open and oh no what happens? Oops, we forgot the batteries. And the morning is ruined, most stores closed, etc. The parent is irritated since she found thd best gift, and the child or adolescent is irritated because Mom/Grandma is so lame and did not know about the Batteries required, but “not included” message on the box. — Ugh the Toy Companies have figured it out. I would think Best Buy and PlayStation could also. Surprised that Best Buy did not recommend the powercord/charging cord with the purchase. They always recommend multiple other items. Most likely I was recommended purchase of the entire $500 PS5 Console. Likely listed as “usually purchased together” item. Well I figured it out rather quickly with DoorDash and another amount of $$ from my Bank Account. I still love Best Buy, but they hopefully read this and figure out what needs to happen for other gift purchasers of the future.
