Didn't even realize all of the functionality put into this controller until I got to play some titles. But the feel/grip is solid and motion tracking with the new triggers is a nice touch. Even though I only got an extra controller because I was required to the new gen controllers are solid.

The PS5 controller impresses with its comfort, aesthetics, and cool design. It feels great, but personal preference leans towards the slightly smaller PS4 controller. The PS5 controller's larger size, while good, doesn't quite match the ergonomic charm of its predecessor, making it a matter of taste for gamers.

The DualSense controller feels a bit weird at first, and the only game I've played that took full advantage of it so far was the new playroom that comes pre-installed on the PS5. Now that I'm used to the slightly different shape, I prefer it to the old DualShock 4 hands down. It holds a charge longer, the charge cord fits more securely, and the performance in the playroom blew me away. If you're just playing PS4 games on your PS5, it's probably going to feel alien to you for a day or two, but it didn't take long at all before I started looking at the DualShock 4 as clunky. I just hope that the future PS5 titles do a better job at fully utilizing the DualSense than Spider-Man: Miles Morales did. PS: the one thing that nags at me is that I've already had to install two controller software updates per controller. This is irritating because you have to connect the controller to the control deck for the software installation, and how much should your controllers need to update in less than a week of use?

I have two controllers…the original that came with the PS5(still works great, though I replaced the battery), and another that was purchased two years ago(left stick drift/occasionally requires cleaning). I purchased this one on a cyber Monday deal to add to the collection. Pickup and ordering through our local Best Buy was without issue and prompt, so hats off to them. However, sadly Sony continues to manufacture inferior controllers for the best console on the market. Having dealt with previous stick drift issues in the past, this controller is put away in the cabinet after every use and dedicated as “dad’s” remote. Even with care, I’ve noticed in the past few days odd behavior which I’ve narrowed down to the D pad, which includes drifting and ghost inputs. Ironically, I’ve found a simple “wack” to the left side of the controller resets it. Hopefully I’m able to make an exchange or at least have it fixed for little cost.

Good quality controller, good battery life. some replacement controllers have bad batteries that don't last as long as the original that comes with the gaming system but this one had a good battery so I'm very pleased.

The PS5 contriller is by far the best controller I have ever used. It feels great in the hands, has amazing haptic feedback, and the adaptive triggers are definitely as great as they sound. The red on this variation is awesome and has not faded after months of use.

I love how vibrant the purple is and I’m comfortable saying that hands down the Dualsense is the best controller on the market. The haptics are so cool and I’m glad Sony made yet another great controller.

My son loves the controller for the great battery life and design.
