Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I game a lot on PC, and I wondered how good the extra features this controller has over Xbox (specifically adaptive triggers and haptic feedback), and it feels pretty good! Unfortunately it requires USB connection on PC for those extra features, and the mic/speaker combo can sometimes mess with audio selection (and you need to have the speakers un-hardware-muted to get haptic feedback), but overall, was worth it.

You know what it does…either your white one stopped working or you want a different color. I prefer black controllers but either way they are never cheap.

As for this controller, it’s an excellent stock design, and superior to Xbox default controllers in a lot of ways. However, this is my 4th PS5 controller in 3 years, which is to state that the reliability and longevity on these Sony controllers leaves much to be desired. 5 stars for Best Buy, 3 stars for the Sony controllers due to reliability/longevity issues.

But the midnight black is a much better color. If you’re like me, and go back and forth about switching your white color set over, I say do it. There’s nothing like that new controller grip.
