It's necessary for multiple people to play at once, so I had to buy it. That said, it's the coolest, and a great iteration from the previous gen. You may have read the other reviews about the adaptive triggers, but they really need to be felt first hand (no pun intended). It's a bit larger and heavier than the DualShock 4, which may be harder on people with smaller hands, but to me, they just feel solid. I wish battery life were longer, but that's probably a trade off for all of motors doing work here. Time will tell how durable they are, but with three kids, I'm sure we'll find the limits before long. Overall, a great controller. I wish it had better battery life, but that's my only issue with it.

The pictures don't do it justice. A lot better looking in person. The price of controllers is a bit much but this one was worth it
