Unlike other reviews on this platform, I figured I’d do a two years later review on this controller. It has was the test of time, with no major issues. The only real issue I’ve ran into is the Thumb stick caps, wearing down a bit, and some of the rubberized coating wearing down slightly on the back. I’ve used it with a PS five, steam deck, Lenovo Legion, and Now a ROG Ally X. I used to use an Xbox 360 controller back in the day for everything, but Sony’s new controller has definitely taken the cake for my go to gamepad. The Xbox controller that needed new batteries, this one still holds a very respectable charge, granted after two years of hard use I’m debating throwing a new battery in. But for the equivalent of $35 a year and having basically zero issues, it’s a very cost-effective solution for a gamer.

Controller is amazing has a nice grip to it, color is fabulous doesn’t fade and has quick response time, battery last quite a long time aswell

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, who treats PS5 controllers like they owe him money. Given his level of “enthusiasm” when he uses them, I was honestly impressed this one lasted a little over two years. I just replaced it with a new controller purchased directly from the PlayStation store, so now we’re running a bit of an unofficial durability experiment. There’s been talk that controllers not bought directly from PlayStation don’t hold up as well, so we’ll see if there’s any truth to that. Whichever one survives the longest round in this household will definitely earn my future business. Quick breakdown: Value: Around $80 like most PS5 controllers, so pretty standard across the board. Quality: Lasted a little over two years under some very “enthusiastic” use before the internal sensors finally waved the white flag. Ease of Use: Exactly what you’d expect from a PS5 controller—no learning curve here.

After montha of only playing my xbox aries x i finnaly got my balck ps5 cobtroller aince the old one had been dropped in water and it looks amazing better than the one that comes includes with the os5

The color way is so cool, I love that they have this to offer. Everything feels the same, but the color way gives my setup some character. I want to put a skin in my console to match my controller

I like the color and the adaptive triggers. The ergonomics are insane. The only drawback would be the stick drift that will come after 6 months of light use (for me). It sucks since the price of controllers keep on going up and seems like soon they will be priced the same as the pro controllers lol

It's a Chrostmas gift for my husband and he loves it! I persannly love the color and he complemented it too. It retains the charge as expected and it arrive earlier that I expected.

Hopefully, I bought it in the block the last piece really happy for that. I love the black and I need to controls for that. I bought it to enjoy with my friends no issues and smooth to use

I play a lot of street fighter 6 and my old controller seemed to have been worn out from the other games i had been playing so i decided to get a new one. And this blue one, for some reason, is perfect for street fighter 6. I have not had any misinputs or any problems with the d pad as far as pointing in the direction that i meant to point. No accidental dps instead of fireballs. And i kno its just a blue color but for some reason, it really just feels better in my hand. Might be all in my head unless there is some secret added bonus to the blue controllers or maybe i just got really lucky with this particular controller being made perfectly.
