PS5 controllers are currently having drifting issues during game play. Bet to stay connected via usb cable instead of bluetooth.

Greatest controller ever!

The texture and feedback is absolutely fantastic. Controls are easy (the same) to use and no drift what so ever. They have a assortment of colors and you wont be disappointed if you game more than average!

Desperately needs a longer battery life

It's better than the previous generation, the DS4, in that it fits the palm of your hands better. This purchase in particular featured the Midnight Black controller and it looks really good. It's color scheme and overall design is probably Sony's finest when it comes to their entire history of controller accessories. However, as per the name of this 2 star rating, it really needs a longer battery life. A full, 100% charge on standard vibration settings only gives you about 3 or less hours of game time. It is reasonable to claim that 3 hours of gaming is more than enough for a dedicated playthrough but this is not including the fact that battery life will be shortened given enough time. This is not acceptable. IMO, the battery should have been at 70%-100% more of its given capacity. This is to ensure a fully uninterrupted gameplay session without the need to recharge the controller once per day or more.

What PlayStation is done with the haptics is incredible It handles like a cross breed of Xbox and Sony. Everything in the box came as it should, and was in good condition. The only complaint I have is that it did not come with a charging cord, so I still have to use the one cord between the two controllers. As It’s an official Sony controller, that fault lies with them and not Best Buy.
