My son got it for Christmas, and he had just played for a few days. Sony has to fix this problem because the one that came with the system had a similar problem too. It is not Best Buy, it is Sony's problem.

The quality of these controllers are trash so make sure you get the protection plan. Have gone through 4 or 5 since the ps5 came out.

This was the grimiest controller I had ever seen and had finger gunk still in the joystick. The buttons felt mushy and you can tell that button was used for a while. I repackaged it, washed my hands and returned as soon as it got delivered. Extremely disappointed with Best Buy's quality control.
