Got it on half off for Cyber Monday sale. I love the color. It's not just purple, it's Galactic Purple. The texture is smooth. I prefer this controller over the white one. Buttons are flawless especially when you need to press the same button multiple times during a game.

In past generations, for multi-platform games I always went with Xbox since I have an Elite Series 2 controller which makes all the difference. While I still wish Sony would release their own version of a pro controller, the DualSense is their best step yet in closing the gap, to the point that I now alternate games I can play on both between the Series X and PS5. Build, weight, and feel are all drastically improved. Only issue to me is that battery life is still lacking - the Elite 2 can be used for 2 weeks between charges. Well done Sony.

There haven't been any issues with it, and I've had it for weeks. It comes with a year-long warranty from Sony that covers natural wear and tear from use, not preventable "accidents". Sturdy. It takes drops well.
