I like the cool color, but it’s nothing special. It works the same as the original. I just hope it lasts longer than the other two I had.

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew. He loves it and these controllers seem to last a very long time!

I purchased this because my original controller picked up stick drift right when it's warranty ran out. I've treated this on as if it was a vial of nitro just waiting to blow, and sadly stick drift is just starting to set in. You would think Sony would have done better as time marches on, but seriously, I still have an original PS2 and it's controller doesn't have stick drift. In truth, this is just what the current gen controllers are like. For these prices, we should not be getting disposable hardware. I still gave it four stars because everyone is producing garbage, and theirs is the best of the garbage that I've tried so far.

Absolute favorite color release so far, I love my Purple Controller for the PS5. Used it until it dies, then charged it and I'll do it again when I get the chance (they last about a week or 3 per charge with how little I get to play). As soon as they announced this color, I knew which PS5 controller I was getting! Planning on the matching sides, when they release.

Good value for the price and it worked just as advertised

I bought this controller as a replacement for the original one that came with my PS5. It works excellently, and I love the color. I expect it to last just as long as the original controller, which lasted for multiple years.

Exactly what I wanted! Took advantage of the sale!

As of the time I posted this review, I had purchased three of these controllers. The primary issue for the two replacements I bought before the one I recently purchased and the controller that came with the PS5 was stick drift. The controller with the PS5 lasted around 6-7 months before I ran into stick drift. My first replacement (black) lasted eight months to a year, and my most recent controller (also black) lasted two years. It's a meh-to-okay controller in terms of longevity, but it's great when it comes to actually playing games that take advantage of its advertised functions. Also, I'm sure it's just a placebo, but I feel the different colored versions of these controllers last longer. My most recent purchase of this controller is in Galactic Purple. Other than that, there aren't many relatively affordable options for PS5 controllers with Dualsense's features. However, I recommend looking elsewhere if you don't mind not having the whole Dualsense experience.
