Open Box Win!

However, the controller was in mint condition and was essentially brand new. It connected right to the console without even having to plug it in first. And it even came with the latest firmware update right out of the open box. Always consider open box or refurb purchases when looking for peripherals!

Can’t go wrong with red

Solid Controller

The only difference with this and the controller that came with my PS5 is the color. Well constructed and has a good feel. I have been using this for the past few weeks and I don't have any complaints. Having the mic built into the controller is convenient for those that don't have a headset. For those of you that don't want this mic on all the time, you have the option of turning this mic on the controller. You can also have it turned off by default using the PS5 Settings.
