I didn't expect as much of a difference as they actually have but they really do make games feel more immersive. Also, not sure if the PS$ controllers did this, but I found that muting my tv forced the controller to play all sound through it. That's a nice feature for late night sessions.

More purple than blue shade

I would say tho that the pictures online make it seem more blue, but in person it has mostly shades of purple. Still really cool and my boyfriend still loves it.
