i purchased this for my grandson for his PS5 and he loves it. It is a great controller and he loves the color.

I like to have 2 controllers and was waiting a color variations on the Dual Sense ones. It came out just in time as my first started to drift After only 7 months. My first off these has something loose, my guess was maybe damaged in shipping, and Best Buy excavated it. The replacement is working fine. I did as on the geek squad warranty which I feel is worth the piece of mind for 2 years since I’m sure this one so get drift at some point as well. A new one b for $20 is much better than $70. Great controller though overall. I like it much more than the Dual Shock 4

A controller that has a more foward thinking design compared to previous dualshock remotes is the winning combination for Playstation 5. Feels great, secure, and overall confidence for the player interacting in a game session. Haptic feedback is a good choice for games but not for every software you play. USB-C finally convinces this hardware to accept a more friendly, powerful and substantial upgrade to Micro USB. Lightbar has been redesigned to be less intrusive, triggers such as rumble support provide more immersion with the system, buttons all around feel more refreshed and responsive to the overall controller. Make sure to have micro fiber cloth handy for cleaning, charging station for PS5 is a must add on, and battery life may be an major issue with the controller based on the amount tech that operates within the device. It will be useful to add another controller to the system while the other is charging stationary.

really nice finish on this controller! the black is matted but does not leave a lot of fingerprints when it is touched. when you hold this controller it fits comfortably in your hands without causing your hands to get sweaty, and the texture on the grips which are tiny PlayStation symbols (cross, square, circle, triangle) are pretty awesome and feel great keeping you in control of your movements. other than that it is a typical DualSense controller which are pretty amazing. the small black trim under the thumb sticks would be nicer in a deeper black color in my opinion.

The PS5 DualSense controller completely changes the way gaming feels. The first time I played with it, I noticed the difference immediately — the haptic feedback isn’t just a gimmick, it actually makes games more immersive. When driving in Gran Turismo, I can feel the road texture in the triggers, and in Call of Duty, the adaptive triggers add real resistance when firing different weapons. It feels like I’m actually in the game.

I love the color of the controller, I had no problems with the joy-stick and would more controllers like this in the future.

Sony really knocked it out of the park with the DS5. Had every PS since 1999. This controller is hands down the best one I've ever used. I put in a lot of hours gaming on Twitch, so controller ergonomics is a concern of mine. Not only does thing fit perfectly in my hands, the weight is spot on. It can also be used on PC via activating it inside of Steam settings. And now, you dont have to worry about it getting all gross looking because of the black color. You should def still clean it weekly. The PS symbol texture on the back will pick up all your hand oils.

First one i had ended up with a left joystick failure 10 days in but the 2nd is perfect and going strong!
