The Dualsense has ruined all other controllers for me. While the controller is expensive, you’ll understand why as soon as you use one. There’s a TON of technology packed into this thing: haptics, adaptive triggers, touchpad, light bar, speaker, microphone, gyro, and a rechargeable battery with USB C (none of which the Xbox controller has).

I had my original controller since launch of the PS5. The left stick started drifting really bad and really impacted my performance especially in multiplayer. But I couldn't be mad, that controller had lasted 5 years? That's pretty darn impressive. I ended up choosing this controller as my replacement. And it brought me back to playing and how it had felt to use the PS5 controller for the first once again. The adaptive triggers truly are one of the best upgrades introduced on this generation.

Great controller. Bad battery life. Too expensive. Still one of the best controllers though. Sony makes a good pad.

The controller works really well. I hadn't notice when I bought it that the controller kinda changes color it is like a blue/purple it was a pretty cool surprise

The DS5 is arguably the best controller ever made for a console, and the purple one is no different. Excellent build quality, sick color, and it hasn't gotten stick drift yet so... Not much else to say. I do wish it was closer to $50 or $60 than $70, but inflation I guess.

Its wonderful. Works as it should. Synced properly to the PS5. Came when it said it would. Good job Best buy. As far as the price. Im fairly certain there wasnt a price difference from regular to sale. They've always been $59.99 or $64.99. I dont know where the half the PS5 price came from. Anyway, its a controller. Someday it might get stick drift. Don't throw the controller in a fit of rage, and the stick drift possibility lessens.

I love that it's not crimson red as the ps4 ones were. The design feels very nice. Hubby has carpal tunnel and he can play for hours thanks to the unique design that just fits so well. The color itself is also very easily gender neutral and stands out well.
