    The Official PlayStation DualShock 4 (DS4) is the best controller for the PS4 and the best controller Sony has ever made. I enjoyed the PS3 controller, but this is better in every possible way. It is more responsive, it is more comfortable to hold, the inputs feel fantastic, and the larger shoulder buttons and concave triggers are huge improvements, especially for shooters. There are unofficial downloadable drivers and configuration tools which allow the DS4 to be used on PC/MAC. The two negatives are the price at $59.99 (the cost of a brand-new game) and the battery life is much shorter at around 8 hours compared with the nearly 30 of the DS3. For local co-op or just to have a backup when your primary controller needs to be charged, the PlayStation DualShock 4 is really the only one to get.
