Backup Controller

When someone come over I don't want anyone using my controller so there is always an extra that they can use.

Still needs work!

I'd hope they would have increased the battery life a bit more, but I guess It's a tactic to make sure you purchase an extra controller. The only other reason could be that when the PS5 comes out they can say "We've increased the controller battery life by 50%". It's okay Sony. I'll still buy a second controller. :P

Great console controllers, poor battery life

I recommend buying a chat pad battery extender or having multiple remotes to ensure minimal delay in game-time. I docked a star for this reason alone. Additionally, the thumbstick pads do not wear out nearly as quickly on these new controllers as they used to, but I still highly recommend buying a set of third party stick pad grips.

I haven’t used all of them but I don’t have really any serious gripes with this standard DualShock 4. I do wish they would improve the quality and size of the thumb sticks. They are acceptable but I much prefer sticks that are the shape and size of XBOX controllers. It’s far from perfect but it’s even further from broken.
