The joystick buttons and the trigger buttons also seem harder to click down and the finish scratches very easily (I am careful with my things).

Better then the old version

The mushy triggers are much better, and the move away from the domed analog sticks are a plus. The weight also feels better in the hand, and it seems to fit adult hands a little better then the PS2/PS3. It is probably about on par with what I considered the best controller, the XBox 360 controller.
