This is Sony's latest incarnation of their Dualshock line. Unlike the original introduced well into the lifecycle of the first PlayStation, this controller is wireless and includes a small touchpad. However, it costs almost 2 1/2 times as much. These days most multiplayer gaming involves one person per console and a network connection. However, if I want to play Little Big Planet wit my three kids, I need to pay $180+tax for the controllers. That's quite an investment. It's a comfortable, well-built, and well-designed controller...but it comes at a significant price.

It’s been a great controller, feels great in your hands! Only thing is that they seem to malfunction a year in because I’ve gone through 3, 1 battery stopped charging, 1 battery expanded, and the last one had an issue with the left thumb stick going left constantly even though it was not moved or bent.

Finally now I can have my own controller and my son can have his own too. Now I don't have to worry about having caked on food and the controller dead because he forgets to charge it all the time. Also the quality of these controllers is unparalleled, ever since the dual shock on the PS2, I've loved these ever since, keep up the good work Sony!
