It comes with an adapter for the older ps5 model, but fresh out of the box its ready to be installed onto your ps5 Slim. It’s definitely not a big deal if decide not to get it, but if you want peace of mind that your PS5 wont tip over, you should definitely consider purchasing this item.

It took me an hour to figure out it doesn't go together like the instructions say. the piece that you pop on (black) makes the screw unable to go into the side of the PS5. You have to put it together without that.
