This is a great headset for anyone who wants to enjoy long gaming sessions with great audio and voice chat. I have been using the INZONE H7 for over a month. And over these period, I have very little complain for the headset. I originally bought the H7 for better in game voice chat. In regard to that, it has excellent. There is no lag and the voice chat works great in games that has very little voice processing. The chat over discord is excellent as well as expected. You can just lift the mic to switch it off. The headset automatically filters out excess noise in the background. The spatial audio also works well. I usually turn the spatial audio features off as it usually does not add much to the experience for me. However, the feature is there if you need it. I have tested it both on the PC and PS5, and on both side it worked really well for gaming. It also integrate well with the PS5 and all the features of the headset works great with the PS5 UI. Outside of gaming, the music also comes through great. Although, I do prefer the WH-1000XM3 better for music as it is better optimized for music and travel. However, for a dedicated gaming headset, music performance is not bad. I did not have any issue with battery life. My highest gaming session was 5-6 hours straight, and it drilled through the whole session without a hitch.

I have been using this headset nonstop for gaming and media watching. Sound quality is amazing for both, Comfort is amazing as well, most importantly the mic quality is top notch, battery life is astounding, it feels like a premium headset. Id definitely recommend this headst to any gamer that owns a PS5 or PC

The headphones are really great. They have enough space for ears like mine that are pretty big and tall. The cushions are comfortable for hours of play time and the mic and chat option really help when playing multiplayer games. Also, all the buttons are easy to access and remember. Overall good quality headphones for PS5

This headset is extremely comfortable and the battery life is insane. Sound quality and mic are really good. I was concerned because I heard mixed things about the mic they must of pushed a update because it sounds fine. I'd say it sounds a little better than my old platinum headset. If they let you creat a custom EQ on PS5 I would of rated a 5* also the headset is a little on the larger side I don't extend the earcups at all and it fits so really small head might have some issues.

Love these headphones. Sound quality is great and they fit well. But I have big ears so wearing them for long periods of play time get my ears uncomfortable. The battery lasts a long time.

I used this headset for about a year, the sound quality is outstanding and was suitable for any game. My only problem with the product is the mic doesn’t work anymore.

The headphones have good audio and the mic picks up nearly all the noise in my immediate area. They were very comfortable too. I enjoyed these headphones very much. Had them for maybe 5 months and the material on the inside band of the headset started to come undone. Evidently, this doesnt exist on Best Buy anymore. Thankfully, my Best Buy Total membership gets me a free protection plan on these, so losing them so soon isnt as bad as it could have been.

Really amazing quality sound and build. Well worth the price tag. Similar headphones from other brands much more expensive. Can easily switch between computer and PS5 with no problems. Thanks Sony.

Great head set spatial audio is awsome ive tried every head set eaven the h9 the noice canceling takes away from the audio in my opinion so the h7 you get a good audio experience becouse nothings entefering

These are only my 3rd pair of gaming headphones and I'm very happy with them well one issue for some reason when i in-game chat with players using steelseries headphones i would hear static when they spoke and only those brand units i even returned a great deal open box unit cause i thought they were busted and bought a new unit only to have the same issue so i kept them cause they are so "STINKIN COZY" shoutout to @techne and no need for a switch

Originally I would have given these a solid 4 stars. The side tone isn’t that great and it can only be adjusted through the inzone hub on your pc. Less than one year of fairly light use and the faux leather around pad at the top of the head is coming apart from the cushion.. the whole side is almost completely fallen off. I hang them after every use and take care of them and only use them for PS5 gaming. This is the last Sony headset I will ever buy. Had quality control issues going back to the older Sony gold on ps4 as well. It’s a shame these actually sound good but apparently can’t stand up to the lightest use.

At $100 off msrp, had to buy it. Using these with my ps5. It pairs lerfectly.

Finding the perfect gaming headphones seems to be a never-ending saga for me. I’ve tried everything from wired earbuds to wireless state-of-the-art over-ear headphones. But no matter what I try, they all seems to fall flat. Nothing seems to fit the exact mold of what I’m looking for. This is what led me to these headphones by Sony. I’ve always like Sony headphones and these really caught my eye because they have a wireless connection. I’ve recently found a passion for mobile gaming in addition to console and PC gaming. One of the aspects of mobile gaming that I enjoy is socialization. I used to be drawn to socializing with my Xbox friends about 10 years ago, but most of those friends moved onto different gaming platforms or we just want to play the same games anymore. I picked up my phone and started playing COD Mobile one day and I found a community again. The unfortunate thing was that I found that I really needed a solid set of headphones in order to communicate with my new friends. I used what I had but they were designed for gaming and so there were a lot of features that I felt were lacking. So, what I started looking for was headphones that are: • Lightweight • Comfortable for long periods of time • Had good battery life • Had a great microphone • High-quality sound • Worked on multiple platforms • Wireless The Inzone H7 wireless headphones check off everything on this list. First of all, they are extremely lightweight. I have another set of headphones (not Sony) that are much heavier so it was a shock when I held the Inzone headphones for the first time. I slid them on my head and found them to be very comfortable. The foam is soft and to be honest, I don’t even notice that there is a headband because it’s so comfortable. I noticed that the ear cups breathe really well. Even after hours of gaming, my ears aren’t hot at all. This is actually an issue I’ve fought quite a bit with other headphones. I even ruined two sets of a different brand of headphones due to condensation build-up from heat/sweat. So, the heat control of these headphones was really important to me and it hasn’t been an issue at all. The battery life has been really awesome, too. I have had a couple of 12+ hour gaming sessions where I was actively using game audio as well as the microphone and the Inzone headphones stayed with me the entire time. I am glad that they charge via USB-C. They seem to charge efficiently as I’ve been able to plug them in before bed and have them ready to go when I get up the next day. The microphone is above average. My gaming companions have never complained about how I sound or commented on not being able to hear me. They have with other gaming headphones. I wouldn’t say it’s the best microphone I’ve used for gaming, but it’s definitely not the worst. I would rank it 7/10 for the microphone alone. The only complaint that I have about the microphone’s function is that the lift-to-mute feature doesn’t work for mobile gaming. The sound quality is above average, too. All the ambient gaming sounds come through loud and clear and I don’t have any issues communicating with my gaming crew. Because of the shape of the ear cups and how they fit, you do find yourself isolated pretty well from ambient noises in your surroundings. The sound effect isn’t a ‘transparency’ mode style, which would be preferable to me, but it is better than being completely shut off from the outside world. I like being able to hear myself talk into the microphone just a little. Transparency mode on headphones allows for this. Some gaming headphones are so sound isolating that all sound is gone and you feel like you are in a black hole. The Inzone do not have that effect and the sound isolation is just right. It’s probably the next best thing to a true transparency mode. As far as setup goes - I had no issues pairing the headphones with my iPhone or iPad. I simply put them into Bluetooth pairing mode and selected them from the Bluetooth menu on either device. The PS5 also had a simple setup. I just plugged the USB receiver (provided) into the USB port on the PS5. They were recognized right away (mark sure the switch is flipped to PS5) and I didn’t have any issue with their connectivity with the gaming system. Setup with a PC is similar to the PS5. You utilize the USB receiver with the switch flipped to PC. Plug it into a USB port on your computer and they should auto pair. The 360 spatial audio setup is done through the combination of the Inzone Hub app on the PC and the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app on your mobile phone. You will need to use the same account for both apps so that the images you capture (yes, you need to take pictures of your ears) on your phone can connect to the PC Hub. This step helps to personalize the spatial audio profiles to your ear shape. I really like the Spatial Audio feature as I feel as though it enhances the experience quite a bit AND it sets the Inzone headphones apart from other gaming headsets. Users also have the option to adjust audio levels with the Inzone hub. Overall, the Inzone H7 headphones are a great option for gaming. I found them to be exceptional any way I was using them.

FOR the sale price, these are a steal. The quality for 150$ is unbelievable. Hands down best headphones ive purchased for this price range.

Having reviewed many a headphone in the past, both standalone audio centric, small form factor ear buds, and Xbox wired gaming headphones I was excited to review these Sony PS5 InZone H7 and came away very impressed. Setup is an absolute breeze, the included USB-A dongle has a slider between PC and PS5, insert into the console, charge the headset (usb-c cable included) and press the headset power on button. The external AV receiver automatically routed the audio to the headset. There’s a convenient volume control slider, much preferred over hard button + and -. While audio quality is surprisingly very good, one of the most convenient and impressive features for me is when raising the boom mic the PS5 headset (and controller) automatically mute. Lowing it back down toward your mouth un-mutes it (reflected onscreen as well as Dual Force controller ) Super convenient and obvious to avoid an accidental open mic. I have a couple Xbox wired headsets, and let me top you that the Sony InZone 7 is incredibly liberating. No longer do I worry about a dog sitting on the wire, and exiting the sofa with my headset being ripped off my head. Playing games I found the stereo sound more surround like with better sense of space in game environments matching or exceeding a dedicated 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound setup. Testing AstroBot was probably a mistake bc that game is incredibly fun and addictive. An hour later I lost myself in the game and hadn’t recorded a note in over 10 minutes. Fortunately with the wife working in adjacent room, the game audio was not a disruption to her. Ratchet and Clank was another game that reignited my passion for the PS5 console. Metal clanking (no pun intended) and explosions littered the audio soundscape as lifelike sounding objects, while auditory positional queue truly helped determine enemy locations. Excellent sound isolation put me more “in the zone”. If you have young kids or a spouse who may need your help I found slipping one ear to open air rectified this. A novel feature that I’m not entirely convinced makes a tremendous difference is the PC InZone Hub application. Quite simple to slide USB from PS5 to PC, and pair with said PC. Sony does require that you setup an account, and uploaded mobile pictures of each ear shape to create a personalized Spacial sound profile. I did note a slight variance between on and off, though not convinced it’s not just a psycho-acoustic effect. More testing is needed to convince me this is a serious requirement, but it’s better to have it and not use it than to not have the 360 Reality Audio option, YMMV. Pros + well built + comfortable + lightweight + easy setup + 360 spatial audio + ability to see battery life on-screen + automatic mute (lift mic boom) Cons -disables controller mute button -InZone Hub 1.0.3 is PC only (not Mac) Conclusion There’s a lot of like about this gaming headset, wireless check, simple to use, check, lightweight, comfortable, sounds decent, check check check. I will have a hard time getting back to Xbox wired headset, after being spoiled by these. Recommend BUY

This gaming headphones are amazing. I must say, good job Sony. I have had many Sony gaming headphones in the past (mainly PS3 and PS4 headphones made by them), and these are by far, the most comfortable ones. I know lots of companies advertise "long gaming hours, comfortable etc", however after an hour or two of gaming you start to feel the pressure on your ears, your head and they are no longer comfortable unless you take a break. Not these ones, these are truly, the first pair of gaming headphones that feel completely comfortable to me, the padding on the ears and head is amazing, feels so soft and airy. I usually play Rainbow six siege for about 4 to 5 hours on one night on the weekends, and oh wow, never felt tiresome at all. The padding is so soft and silky and treat them with extremely care, as because of that, feels like you need to treat it with care, I don't know how long it will last, but I hope long. The constructions is a white plastic, ala PS5, but feels well done, they include a type C USB charging cable (which should be the norm already), the USB dongle (about the size of a regular USB thumb drive, it has a switch on it to change from PC to PS5 mode) an the headphones themselves (would have been great if they included a carrying bag). Setup on my PC was easy (of course, fully charge them first). The you just plug the USB receiver to any USB port and then turn on the headphones, they will auto pair. The you go to Sony's Inzone HUB website and download the latest version and it will recognize them. You can use them right there, but if you want to take advantage of their spatial audio, you must download their 360 audio setup app (the inzone hub will guide you) on your phone, then you login with your Sony account in the Inzone HUB (you can use your playstation account or create a new sony account), and then the software will direct you to the phone app. Once on the phone app you log in with the SAME account you used for the Inzone HUB pc software. It will guide you through the process of taking pictures of your ear lobes (very easy) and once its done, it will send that information to the PC software and all done. I guess it does the same thing as the PS5 for its tempest 3D audio that personalizes the 3D spatial audio according to your ear lobes shapes etc. I can't attest that the spatial audio works great and does not sound fake like many other solutions out there. I could hear sounds front, behind, above and below on Rainbow siege six, which is super important to pinpoint enemies.I didn't sound flat at all. You can change many settings in the Inzone HUB PC software, like EQ (there are some presets, and you can customize them), mic sidetone, mic auto gain, dynamic range etc. Very complete software hub I must say. I only wish it would display the battery percentage (it only does a battery icon that changes, but does not say the percentage left, hope they update that), but so far I have gamed two days on one charge and the battery has been amazing and not gone down past half. Sony's claim of 40 hours maybe close! Finally apart from controlling many things on the HUB, the headphones themselves have some on them. Like a power button, a chat/game level button and a volume rocker (I like that it has clicky steps, you can feel when you are upping and lowering the volume tacitly). Finally the mic can mute if you flip it up. Oh, and it has a bluetooth pairing button, yeah! Apart from using the USB receiver you can pair these with any bluetooth music device, like your phone and rock music or phone calls on them while gaming! I highly recommend these for PC or PS5 gaming, Sony has outdone themselves (comparing them with previous pulse headsets, pulse 3d, golds etc), these are a step up!!

At first glance, looked at these and thought, geez, those are big. But after taking them out of the box and holding them, I quickly realized that these things are super light and comfortable in the hand and on my head. As always, I like to test headphones with a COD game, a good movie and a video call. All things that I find very important when sitting at n=my gaming/ work station. And being that they're wireless, I'm already giving these good points before the box even opens. Now, being that these are wholly indosed by Sony( as you can see on the box) I have every assurance that they would sound good and I wasn't at all disappointed. After the initial charging phase that only took around an hour, my first time. I connected the dongle to my pc and booted up some GOW because I had to show Sony some love. Installing the Hub was a piece of cake. The hub isn't necessary to use the Inzone H series of headphones, but it's needed for updates and keeping them finely tuned. And you will definitely want that. Or you can always update them on your PS5 system. If you're going to get some H series headphones, I definitely recommend going with the H7 or higher. Anything below that is a waste of your time. So inside the box, you'll get a quick start guide, limited warranty info and safety info and my favorite part.. Stickers!! Also there's the USB C to A cord for charge & play and the dongle. Volume control on the left with the flip-up mic and on the right ears cup you have your power button, bluetooth pairing button and your game & chat buttons. Everything is easily accessible and simple to use. These are a great alternative to the standard PS5 that Sony sells with the bundle. And i think they're built better. The only problem is these are much like gremllins. You cannot get them wet. Don't handle them with wet hands or fingers. Don't spill anything on them. They aren't even kinda water resistant. Not At All. So if you can follow that one important rule, these are a go.

Tested the Bluetooth sound quality on pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind if your someone with big ears you might the cuffs a bit small

The Sony INZONE H7 offers very good sound, multiple wireless connections, long lasting battery, and is comfortable for long periods of use. It's minimalistic approach works well, with buttons located on each earcup to adjust what you need on the fly. While the volume control is easy to find, I was a little disappointed the other buttons are difficult to differentiate. The headset is made mostly of plastic, and this keeps it from having a premium feel, making it feel cheaper than it is. The light weight does help to make it very comfortable for long gaming sessions. The plastic, non-detachable microphone is adequate for game chat, and can be muted by rotating it up. The fabric covered ear cups are comfortable and offer and adequate amount of passive sound isolation. The INZONE H7 offers simultaneous connections via Bluetooth and USB dongle, so it can be used on a PS5, PS4, PC and anything that offers BT audio. There is no wired option however, so it is not compatible with Xbox. Over multiple games on PC, the sound did not disappoint, offering crisp, refined, detailed audio. There is support for Windows Sonic spatial audio when using the H7’s on PC, wThere is support for Windows Sonic spatial audio when using the H7’s on PC, which provides more immersion, and of course Sony’s own Tempest Audio for the PS5. Overall the Sony Inzone H7 is incredibly comfortable and offers decent passive noise isolation. The audio is crisp and detailed with a pleasing low end, and the 40 hours of battery life is nice. Performance is not an issue here. My only disappointment is that the dominant us of plastic makes it feel cheaper than it actually is.
