If the boom microphone of the headset is raised, lower the boom microphone and adjust its position so that it is near your mouth. Light and comfy you can wear all day with fantastic sound and a good range too, allowing em to get up and walk around and still hear everything. The sound stage is really good on these, the clarity and tone is great I am impressed beyond words the how good these wireless headphones sound. Been noticing a lot more clarity and not muddied sounds when playing games or watching streams which has been great. Setup on the PC was easy, though I found the InZone app (which is really needed) didn't like the fact I was using Voice Meter Potato to control my audio and fought it all the way causing stutters in the audio so I uninstalled it. However if you have a standard sound setup then give the app a try it had some nice features that you could take advantage of. I do wish the Mic was removable since I don't use the Mic on the headset, since I have Hyper-X one already by my PC and don't find it something I would need, but it doesn't get in the way and up is muted so that is a win. You though connect this also through Bluetooth, so if you wanted to run a Voice Call with friends on your phone while you game you can definitely do it, but I do recommend using the dongle for gaming since I couldn't really detect any latency in my use of the product. The battery life is great. Sony claims 40 hours on a full charge and while I've had them for a week, I still haven't charged them. Don't think I got to 40 hours, but they also have a 10 minute rapid charge to give you another sixty minutes if you need it. Overall I think Sony did a great job with these. They work out of the box without issue, sound great, feel great and even though they don't have Active Noise Cancelling (which would lower the battery) they block out sound really well as it is. You can't go wrong with these if you need something wireless.

I play PC games exclusively, mainly exploration and adventure games. The sounds of the environment (wind, footsteps, fires, voices, etc.) come through loud and clear and are spatially accurate. I've done a few chat sessions and the mic is fine and the slider brings the conversation forward. Connection was easy and stable. I didn't have any dropped connection and there was no lag between screen and headset. The headset is large, almost comically so, but it's light and feels great on the head. I had no issues with fatigue or heat. It's very lightweight, but that's because the headset is made of very lightweight plastic. It feels a little flimsy, much more so than my previous pair of Turtle Beach. Given the price point and light build, I feel like I will need to be careful with these to get much use. There's a lot to like about this headset: the sound, the mic, the comfort and weight. The only drawback is the cheap-feeling build, especially given the price point.

Being a person who plays video games quite frequently, the quality of these headphones are great. Some of the things I really like about these headphones are the sound quality. I love the bold bass that you get when the action in my video games are present. These being wireless is a great plus, this makes it very convenient to play the game and not have to worry about holding it. Battery life last for a long time and when the battery gets low, it does not take very long for them to charge back up. Although these headphones are great, I would be careful with them because they seem as though if you derogatory them, you could damage them so be careful. One of the key features I found with these headphones is when you put the mic up it mutes and when you put it down nit unmutes. This is great because instead of manually having to turn it off on your system it does it automatically. Overall, I would definitely recommend these for the gamer.

Their weight is something of an issue, where if they're on your head and you bend forward to look at something, they can start to fall off your head. I've had similar wireless headphones that were half the weight or less. The actual sound quality is good. You can connect to your computer or a PS5 by a USB dongle or to a device with Bluetooth (as I did with my Android phone). I did some computer gaming, listened to music and watched some videos, the sound was good and it's easy to adjust the volume with the old-school volume wheel on the left ear cup near the boom microphone. The boom mike lifts out of the way when you're not using it, which also mutes the mike. The headphones are comfortable, if a bit heavy, padded on the top strap and on the ear cups. The cups themselves rotate independently, which is a little strange and make it hard to put on one-handed. I guess that way they will comfortably fit any head size or shape, but makes them a little unwieldy. Once it's on your head, it muffles a lot of outside sound, helping you to focus on what you're listening to. You can charge the headphones with the included USB cable. Battery life is very good, I charged it once and used it for days with no issues. They claim the battery life is 40 hours and I have no reason to doubt it. You can customize the headphones on the PC with Sony's InZone software. While I can definitely see using these for gaming, I don't see their use much for phones and other portable uses, since they might fall off your head if you're moving around.

An immersive audio pleasure ride!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My wife tells me I look sexy with my now color-coordinated Sony PS5 controller and this Intone H7 headset. My gaming buddies tell me my voice now has a deeper baritone in-game while I'm shouting who they should kill next in our first person shooter games. My ears tell me they feel more comfortable after these gaming sessions but my brain comes away in shock at the 3D immersive sound experience produced from this device. The PS5 includes a 3D sound optimizer that plays the sounds of running water from 5 different heights and spending a few minutes at each of the different heights helps illustrate the technology behind 3D sound; definitely check this feature out. My only complaint is that the USB stick used to connect these to the PS5 is long and with a white light on the end of it, it's a jarring visual experience that leaves no doubt that something is definitely sticking out the front of your PS5. In my use case the PS5 barely fits inside my entertainment stand enough to close the glass door so having to find an extra 2 inches of space to push the console back deeper into the stand was a frustrating experience as I now have a paper thin gap between the end of this usb stick and the closed glass door. These things sound great, look great and if you're gaming on PS5 make an excellent edition to your online experience.

Overall decent headset for your PC or PS5
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony's "first" foray into a "PC Gaming Headset" is overall a win for me. I've used the old school PS4 Gold headsets even before they were redesigned and actually quite liked them. I don't remember if they definitely worked on PC as well but I feel like they did. In any case, the INZONE series is currently being called Sony's first PC gaming headset. I'll probably use it more with my PS5 and as a bluetooth headset for my phone, though. Setup was a breeze no matter what. The documentation included with the headset is pretty much non-existent but you shouldn't need it. Plug in the wireless dongle into your PS5 or PC (there's a switch on the dongle to tell it which system it's plugged into) and that's about it. Out of the box, my Windows PC and PS5 immediately recognized the headset. Windows, sadly, auto-switches the audio as soon as you plug in the dongle so it's a little more of a pain if you want to just leave the dongle plugged in forever since you'll need to switch between your speakers and headset manually. PS5 is smart enough to know when you actually power on the headset and switch to it at that point instead. You also have a bluetooth mode so you can connect straight to any bluetooth device you have instead of the dongle. The overall sound quality is quite nice. These aren't cheap headphones so I would hope that's the case and they don't disappoint after some time with them. Listening to music and playing games sounded really good. The spacial audio works pretty well too. I tested out some 3D sound tests and for the most part, these headphones do a decent job of simulating and differentiating the front, rear, side and center channels. I also tested some of Astros Playground on the PS5 because I know they use the Tempest Audio system that's new in PS5 and it really felt like there was just sound all around me. Microphone audio is passable. It sounds good enough. Nothing to write home about but it's a headset microphone so I wasn't expecting much more than I got. There's no active noise canceling on the H7 like there is on the flagship H9 but honestly, when playing a game, I don't think you need it much. The passive noise canceling is already pretty top notch. As soon as I put them on I commented to my wife that there wasn't supposed to be noise canceling on this set but the room kind of drifts away when you put them on. Playing anything that has any volume to it drowns out anything else even without the active noise canceling. I can attest that my newborn child within a leg's distance from me was in-audible while crying a little bit which is pretty good since she's got a set of lungs on her. There's an INZONE windows app that lets you tweak some settings (EQ and such) as well as personalize your spacial audio settings by using another app on your phone that takes a picture of your ears to customize the sound. I'm not 100% sure that I heard much of a difference but I thought it was a neat way of doing things. The process is a little cumbersome but not too bad. Mostly it was logging in to your Sony account on the Windows app and then logging in again on the phone app. Comfort is pretty great. The headset isn't the lightest thing I've ever worn but it's just a really comfortable set. It's easy to forget you're wearing it. Not much else to be said. The cups are deep and don't hurt my ears at all. There isn't a lot of pressure pushing into your head. All around, just a really comfortable headset. Enough that it might be the first one I actually use to listen to music and podcasts on my phone in lieu of in-ear wireless headsets I would normally pick. One of the only real downside I found had to do with the connection to my PS5. I was able to hear some "artifacting". Like a connection/interference type thing. I didn't notice it when I was connected to my PC but on my PC, I was connected to the front/top of the case which is just out of arms reach while the PS5 was connected to the back of the PS5 a good 6-8 feet away. That sort of range shouldn't be an issue, but we do have a newborn child as well as a toddler so we have more than one 2.4ghz device hogging up a lot of bandwidth already. Our 2.4ghz wifi also suffers from a lot of interference so I can't really blame the headset but it's something to consider if you also have a lot of 2.4ghz issues. The artifacts aren't really distracting and I didn't notice them when there was a lot of sound happening in game. It was mostly just little moments while the background PS5 music was playing. The only other downside is a personal thing that limits how much I can use it with my PC. I stream on Twitch and have an audio setup that won't work with a USB headset. Most other headsets I've used allow for a passive, 3.5mm audio jack connection that I can use but the INZONE's do not have that. This is the main reason I'm OK with just using these for my PS5 and phone. If they had a headphone input, though, I'd probably just use these for everything. All in all, this is a pretty good headset. It's not cheap but I do think it offers a good enough sound quality in a very comfortable package. Even without the 3.5mm audio jack so I could use it streaming, I'm still happy with them enough that using them with my PS5 and phone is enough for me. If you aren't on a tight budget, I can recommend looking into these.
