They are very comfortable and the sound quality is very good. I figured that they would sound good because it’s Sony and they’re the people who do the movie theater sound stuff, but actually using them was pretty shocking.

I’ve owned beats, airpods, sennheisers, other sony’s (xm3, 4.) The main reason I love these so much, is the comfort. I can wear them all day without ear discomfort or fatigue. They sound great and the ANC is top tier. Only critique I have is the mic is not the best.

Sony XM4 are better for ANC, but these are more comfortable. I can sleep in these. Wear them for hours and never be uncomfortable wearing them. ANC is top notch as well. Highly recommended.

Perfect for me

I did some researching on youtube and these seemed like they would suit my needs of noise cancelation and clear sound. They are truly great. They sound very clear and crisp, the noise cancelation is phenomenal, and the touch controls work well most of the time. I am currently on my second pair since my toddler decided to loose one of the old pair.

They're ok, not the best but decent

We're sorry about the trouble with the earbuds losing connection when they sense they're not in your ear. This feature is meant to save battery and improve convenience, but we know it can be a bit sensitive sometimes.
If you want to change the settings, check out the Sony | Sound Connect app. You can adjust in-ear detection or turn off the auto-pause feature, which might help keep your connection more stable.

They sound great and have great connectivity with my Android phone. Love the features. Only drawback is battery life as my last pair only lasted a little over 2 years and then didn't hold much of a charge, but IMO these are the best earbuds on the market for the money that work 100% with Android phones.

Great until they stopped working

Went to Best Buy to weigh my options on a replacement. Was told by the associate that Best Buy store 237 would not cover anything past 14 days without the warranty. Sent back to Sony.

The Sony app is easy to maneuver and set up. Have had these for almost 2 years without any issues. Keeps a good charge with the earbuds and case for about 2hrs continuous use. Only con is sometimes the buds will slide out due to excess ear juice or sweat. Use them alot in the gym especially the noise cancelling feature to focus on my workout.

EXCELLENT buds for price!

You do make some sacrifices in the noise cancelling but the tight fit of the buds definitely help. Again, you can pay twice as much or get this and get 90% of the XM5s quality.
