Unfortunately I sent the case through the wash in a pair of pants. It would be awesome if the charging case had some higher water resistance as a case being forgotten in pants is a high possibility. The lower review is really due to the fact that the earbud became muted to 50% and didn't have high use.

But I'm on my second pair and the left earbud has started showing signs of the drive being blown. I only use them while I am at my office and at tops only get used 3-4 hours a day during the workweek.

I got them to fit great in my ear with the size options but could not get the sound to go directly in my ear. The open-ear are very nice for working out. For the people that these work for, you should feel lucky. For a new buyer, I would give them a try. You can always return them if they do not work for your needs. I loved them but just could not get the sound to adjust to my needs.

They let the outside world in, and the fit is pretty much invisible. Perfect for the office/hospital. And when its fully charged in the case, it stops charging the earbuds and when i use it the next time the battery is less than half or even dead. Didnt get a warranty on it so that sucks. You shouldn't pay 180 dollars for these.

For optimum fit and comfort, make sure that you are wearing the headphones properly. Medium-sized (M) ear fitting supporters are attached to the LinkBuds at the time of the purchase. If they are too big or too small, select a different fitting supporter to help the LinkBuds fit better and feel more comfortable. We recommend starting with the larger sizes and working your way down to the smaller sizes until you find the best fit. Note: The best fitting supporter may be different for each ear.

Works great if you need to hear your environment

In some situations I need to hear what’s going on around me and this is perfect. It doesn’t get super loud, but I have the XM4’s for that. Used them at Disneyland so I can listen to music or sports broadcasts while waiting in line, worked like a charm. Stays firmly in place on rides and can hear the ride operators call out the next people in line. Also, I’m also a cyclist, and these don’t quite work for that. The wind noise at speed drowns out the music.

They cut out a times when I'm playing music but they are one of the better earphones I've owned. I just need to do some research and I'm sure I'll be able to fix but I would recommend them. They are not noise canceling but that's why I bought them I can enjoy music and know what's going on around me. Really like them.

The LinkBuds may fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the LinkBuds properly or the ear fitting supporters are not correct for your ears.

Wide area tap is a function that detects vibration around the ears with the acceleration sensors that are built into the headset and determines the tap operations. By tapping not only the headset unit but also the areas around the ears where the headset is worn, you can perform various operations such as music playback or phone calls.

These are perfect for what I'm looking for. I've had the galaxy buds live and buds plus with my previous favorite being the buds live. So far these are far more comfortable than the buds live, it's just the linkbuds gives this sensation that it's not secure in the ear when they actually are. Anyway here's my quick pros and cons: Pros -Call Quality -Comfort -Discrete Design -Small Charging case Cons: -Music Audio Quality Base isn't as full as galaxy buds live even after messing around with the equalizer. -Cost It seems that the cost of these are on par with buds live when they first came out. But the buds live is made with more premium materials. I did have a $55 bestbuy rewards to use so I figure I'd go for it. I highly recommend these earbuds. If Sony continues to go on a "green" route with their electronics, I do hope they consider more environmental business strategies such as possibly a trade in options for old Sony tech, replaceable batteries for their earbuds, phones, and other devices, and/or easily repairable designed consumer electronics.

The case to the headphones felt great but the top lid appeared like it is soon to break off. I tried them on, they fit comfortable and stay in my ear which is great for working out. The quality of sound that the headphones emit are nowhere near or as good as bose quality which i was not impressed. Overall, the headphones are average in my opinion.

For the sound quality, if the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned. Please check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears and see if it resolves the problem:
