I like Sony. I love weird, innovative Sony. Minidisc players, Gran Turismo, even AIBO. And the concept for these is great. But I just could not get these to fit no matter what combination of eartips I used and no matter how many videos I watched. I would encourage you to give them a try based on all of the positive reviews. If they don't fit, I have to say that my local Best Buy processed my return quickly and with no hassle.

But I'm on my second pair and the left earbud has started showing signs of the drive being blown. I only use them while I am at my office and at tops only get used 3-4 hours a day during the workweek.

I got them to fit great in my ear with the size options but could not get the sound to go directly in my ear. The open-ear are very nice for working out. For the people that these work for, you should feel lucky. For a new buyer, I would give them a try. You can always return them if they do not work for your needs. I loved them but just could not get the sound to adjust to my needs.

For the sound quality, if the LinkBuds are not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the LinkBuds where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned. And when its fully charged in the case, it stops charging the earbuds and when i use it the next time the battery is less than half or even dead. Didnt get a warranty on it so that sucks. You shouldn't pay 180 dollars for these.

For optimum fit and comfort, make sure that you are wearing the headphones properly. Medium-sized (M) ear fitting supporters are attached to the LinkBuds at the time of the purchase. If they are too big or too small, select a different fitting supporter to help the LinkBuds fit better and feel more comfortable. We recommend starting with the larger sizes and working your way down to the smaller sizes until you find the best fit. Note: The best fitting supporter may be different for each ear.

Left one doesn't charge, right one doesn't work as a headphone. Best buy refused to accept a return, apparently $180 headphones should be disposable trash. Horrible trash product from Sony, sold by garbage retailer best buy. If I wanted garbage, nonworking headphones, I would have bought the $15 ones from the gas station. Oh wait, my 5 year old gas station Bluetooth headphones work great. Zero quality control from Sony, and zero product support from Best buy.

They let the outside world in, and the fit is pretty much invisible. Perfect for the office/hospital. If you need background music while talking to another person/patient or doing paperwork without the pressure in your ear hole, buy these. You can wear one or both, the Sony app lets you change functions and sound.

They cut out a times when I'm playing music but they are one of the better earphones I've owned. I just need to do some research and I'm sure I'll be able to fix but I would recommend them. They are not noise canceling but that's why I bought them I can enjoy music and know what's going on around me. Really like them.

Works great if you need to hear your environment

In some situations I need to hear what’s going on around me and this is perfect. It doesn’t get super loud, but I have the XM4’s for that. Used them at Disneyland so I can listen to music or sports broadcasts while waiting in line, worked like a charm. Stays firmly in place on rides and can hear the ride operators call out the next people in line. Also, I’m also a cyclist, and these don’t quite work for that. The wind noise at speed drowns out the music.

The LinkBuds may fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the LinkBuds properly or the ear fitting supporters are not correct for your ears.
• If you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better. The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different.
• Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.

Wide area tap is a function that detects vibration around the ears with the acceleration sensors that are built into the headset and determines the tap operations. By tapping not only the headset unit but also the areas around the ears where the headset is worn, you can perform various operations such as music playback or phone calls.
