||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally love them they have not a lot of bass out of box the app they would like to have helps fix that but if you like bass get proper headphones not ear buds I can see how someone might not like the open back design where you can hear the outside I’m fine with it my self but I know some one might not like that there is other little things like in the app you can turn on a setting that Detects when your talking and automatically Pauses your music for you there is a lot great about it I love it I can see where some people might not like it from there person use just things to account for like with almost everything.

It takes awhile to figure out how to find the perfect fit for your ears, but once you do, they are awesome! If you have the right fit and put them in properly, the audio is great.

That said, the sound quality is mediocre at best and build quality doesnt suit something thay costs close ro 180 USD. Additionally, the Sony Headphones app is just bad by any standards. Feels like an app from 2010 or earlier. And why on earth do I need an account for a headphone app that is used for firmware updates and equalizer settings??

Great, but just not for me.

They fell out of my ears during my head shake test. But they are good.

Good while they lasted

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.InItially very good, preferred these as they didn't block out your surroundings, etc. But as of 2 weeks ago they are nearly unusable. Something has happened and both headphones vibrate like something is loose or blown. I treat my electronics very carefully and I am not a loud music type of person and have mainly used these for a headset for phone calls and teams meetings. Disappointed, no easy way for any warranty repair that I have found. Looks like I need to find a replacement, would consider replacing with the same, but the price would have be be much lower. They are over priced from my experience.

That is these headphones. You know what they failed on? The case doesn’t need to be as small as the headphones for crying out loud it gets lost when you blink your eyes I loved these headphones so much. I recommended them to my roommate who also went out and got some two days later, she couldn’t find the case you know where I found them? On the lawn three months later when I was mowing it and by chance, my foot hit it, and I went down to pick up a rock to get it away from the lawnmower blade and realized it was her headphone case but you know it was awesome? They still worked even though we live in the Pacific Northwest and it had probably been rained on over 80 times it still worked four days later she lost the case again we’ve never seen it since….. oh and I almost forgot. I returned mine a few days later because they broke for no reason they just stopped working made a fuzzy noise fizzled out never worked again, but that doesn’t change the fact that my roommates pair was awesome.

Battery failed early

Have been using for 15 months and the left bud has recently started only lasting 20-30 after being charged all day and showing 90+%. At this price point I really expected atleast 2 years of use, guess I will be shoping a different brand.

This is definitely not the news we'd like to hear from you. It is difficult for Sony or any other manufacturer to quote the life expectancy for a product. Certain variables, such as the amount of use (or lack thereof) a product receives and the environmental conditions in which a product is being used, play a part in the life expectancy of a product.

Given the price point of $180, I do feel there are better options. Pros: Everything around you sounds natural. You don't need to pause or remove them. This is perfect for times you need to be in tune with your surroundings. Also, the spatial audio and other features such as pausing when talking, are really cool. They are very lightweight and the case is tiny. Really comfortable to carry around. My Cons: Not comfortable for me after about an hour; Too expensive; Connectivity issues in the right ear; sound quality isn't too clear nor loud.

I work from home and have two kids so ANC headphones aren't ideal when trying to listen to my kids. These are amazing, they allow me to have my meetings, but also be aware of the activities around my house. These have great call audio quality and are great for jogs or bike riding. Not recommended for anyone who wants to replace their previous ANC buds, but great for parents and folks who wants awareness.oy complaint, I wish these charged faster and a longer battery life.

Wearing them, I don't feel isolated from the environment. No more having a loved one yell at you because you can't hear them :-)! Because they don't go in the ear canal there is no pressure. The adjustable hoops make them stay securely in the outer ear unlike AirPods. The Sony 360 Sound works extremely well for compatible streaming services. These are a keeper.

Thank you for telling us about your experience with your LinkBuds. We're sorry to learn you've been running into difficulty. If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned. Make sure to turn on Speak-to-Chat mode. To activate the Speak-to-Chat mode, Speak-to-Chat must be enabled in advance. In the factory settings, Speak-to-Chat is disabled. To enable, change the setting with the “Sony Headphones Connect” app. And these also take to custom equalizing within the app. The LinkBuds have the ability to adjust the equalizer in the App to preset settings or save your own custom equalizer settings.
