This remote perfectly met my needs. I wanted to be able to control my TV and watch/stream movies and TV shows on my PS3 with one remote control. Highly recommend this remote.

This is my daily remote, it is very convenient for switching between my PS3 and TV. I also have an amp which it handles perfectly. It is simple to use but limited to 3 devices

If you plan to use your PS3 as an entertainment device (as I have), then this remote control is a must have. With this device, you can easily control the disc player feature and streaming services such as Netflix.

I don't have cable so I've been using my PlayStation to watch Hulu and Netflix or vudu. This made it so much easier! The only thin I don't like is you can't use it to set a sleep timer. Other than that its totally worth $20.

Great remote. Super easy to set up. Works perfectly with PS3. Much easier to use while watching a Blu Ray or Netflix than trying to navigate with a controller.

Bought this remote more than a year after purchasing the PS3 system. While the system is mostly used by my son to play video games, I mainly use it to watch DVD and Blu-ray discs. This remote made a really nice difference over the functions of the game remotes when trying to use the full range of the video disc features. Some features on Blu-ray are just not accessible with the game remote. I also liked the simple navigation layout of the remote. For anyone interested in web surfing or social media while using the PS3, try a wireless keyboard like the Logitech k400 (w/ built-in mouse pad) or k360.

I don't know how I've had my ps3 for this long without owning the media remote. This is a must have. It is easy to set up and fits comfortably in your hand.

I only use my PS3 for watching blu-ray with the occasional Grand Tourismo. This makes watching movies 100x easier than using the gaming controller.

wanted to watch movies on my ps3 without using the controller. I was skeptical of using knock off brands so I decided to spend a little more and go with the Sony remote control. it does exactly what I need it to.

I enjoy this and it is easier for my spouse to use.

If you use the ps3 to watch dvds or blue-rays then you need this remote control. Bought this over a month ago and made watching dvd/blue-rays a breeze.

If you have the PS3 tv and a PS3 this is the best remote for you it works with both items and is easy to use. Thank me later. I recommend it!

Way easier to use with Netflix instead of my controller, but I wished it worked for Hulu Plus too.

I Replaced my Blu-ray player with a PS3 and bought this remote control to use for movies rather than using the game controller. Works Great.

So much easier to use than the PS Controller ... much more functionality. Run into a fair amount of 'Function not available' ... probably due to the system and media rather than the remote though.

I stream a lot of movies and watch a lot of blue rays and dvds. This remote makes it easy and quick to play and adjust what I am watching.
