When you have Netflix or any other steam instant videos this is a great dive to use beside the controller. The only baf thing is that it is touchy and can turn your system on when you just set the remote down when you are not using it.

This is a great thing to own. PS3 controllers can glitch out when trying to navigate the home menus. The remote control makes using the apps and DVD controls much smoother of a process, gone are the days of accidental fast forwarding. My only complaint is no keypad for YouTube/Netflix searches.

I had been looking for a 3D BD/DVD player. The best buy sales person said there was a less expenisve alternative, use the PS remote controller instead. He saved me a couple of hundre dollars and it works great.

This works great on my ps system. I have playstation tv as my cable service and needed a better remote for regular tv features. Programmable like any universal remote control.

Now my daughters (6 & 5) can explore Netflix and function and work a Blu ray DVD without having me coach them on how to use the game controller for simple Netflix and DVD watching.

Love it, so much better than using the PS3 controller, coupled with it being a universal remote, it's excellent. The only thing I can't get it to do is power on my Vizio TV (tried all codes), but all other TV features work from the remote

I got this because I use my PS3 for a BlueRay & DVD player as well as for games. This makes using it as a BlueRay/DVD very easy and intuitive. This is a great product!

I got this remote control because it was on sale and I saw it could control the TV and amplifier. I thought it was perfect instead of using 3 remotes when I wanted to watch a blue ray movie or stream video. The problem is that the remote apparently can only control Sony Amplifiers (I have a Yamaha). It works well with my Vizio TV. Regarding construction and feel of the remote, it feels cheaper than the previous version.

Love this remote, not only it works great with my ps3 but also compatible to program with my tv of a different name brand. No more extra remotes bumbling around.

I had one of these about a year after using my controller. I lost it and found I could not go back. I have friends who have managed to never need one, though.

This remote is perfect for the non tech savy user. We have thus far only connected to the ps3 for purposes of watching Netflix. All in the household were able to understand the buttons and navigate the system.

I did not like using the PS3 game console controller when using my son's playstation. The remote control makes Netflix much easier to maneuver..

I had PS display and this is only remote control works with my display and my PS3. Good functionality but lack of instruction from manual which I have to digging out online to setup with my PS3 device.

Really like the new remote. It ejects the disc, which the last remote did not do. lots of buttons that we do not use though.

I use it all the time. I also programmed to control other devices such as my surround sound system.

This is a must have if you use your PS3 to watch Blue-Ray movies. Makes navigation so much easier than using the PS3 controller.

I am glad this goes with the PlayStation 3. Works great.

If you use your PS3 to watch Netflix, Amazon or anything else other then playing games this is a must have item.

Not all the buttons seem to work properly. The slow and fast scan sometimes work and other times shut off the system.
