Have had about a month and so far so good! Much more user friendly than using the ps3 remote to navigate the menu.

could not get this to work to run our Sony Bravia TV and Sony sound system together. Returned it for a different product which worked well.

I was hoping this was going to be easier to use then the controller for watching movies but in reality its a waste of money

Bought this for my super slim PS3 and it works like a charm! Sure, you could try and figure out the media controls on a PS3 gaming controller but, it's so much simpler to watch movies with this remote. Plus it has the added benefit of acting as a PS3 remote and a standard TV remote so, you don't need to shuffle between multiple remotes.

I've had this for about 2 months and it works great, I'm extremely happy with it. I have an LG TV and I've been missing the control for 2 years, never could find a Universal remote that would work fully. It also powers on the PlayStation which I read in a review it wouldn't, that's a plus. The BluRay control is awesome, I hated using my PS3 controller for my movies, I would always fast forward by mistake when I hit the analog stick,,, that's no longer a problem, I brought this on sale and had a rewardzone cert., so I paid $16 for it,,, great product at a great price,,, I definitely recommend this for any PlayStationite.

I purchased this because i got tired of having to figure what buttons controlled what functions for my Netflix app and the Blu ray player. Now I have an actual remote and for me it's easier to navigate with than the Dualshock. One cool thing about it is that it operates by Bluetooth instead of IR beam for the PS3, so it doesn't matter how I have it pointed, the PS3 responds properly. However, to control the TV it does need to be pointed in that direction which is no biggy.

I've had the PS3 since 2007 - never got the remote because I felt using the controller was "good enough". Once I got this I loved it since everything works so well and you don't need to use the onscreen menu at all. I use it mostly in Netflix and all the features of the remote seem to work quite well. It is superior to the controller which costs around 50-60 dollars so I originally got this to save wear on my new PS3 Controller. It made me wonder why I didn't get one earlier!

Bought this using a BestBuy gift card. Probably wouldn't have chosen BestBuy otherwise considering their price was higher than others. Pros: Considering the price of the remote, it works pretty well with the PS3, my Sony CT-150 Sound Bar and LG 47LW6500 Smart TV. It can turn the devices on and off, with the exception of the PS3 itself, and so far I haven't found any functions that it couldn't operate with it on the devices. It is lightweight and does not have a clutter of buttons unlike some other Universal remotes do. Cons: Not many except that I find it slightly disappointing that it is called a PS3 remote but can't power up and down the PS3 itself. It can do pretty much everything else on the PS3 though. I also find the ability to operate my Cable box missing but I'd not consider that a deal breaker. Conclusion: I'd recommend this one to anyone looking for a decently priced remote to operate 2-3 devices.

I bought this remote just to use on my PS3 to watch Netflix and that is exactly what it does. It was easily sync to the PS3 just follow the instruction and when i read some more i decide to try and sync with my TV, that was accomplish so not only does this remote controls my Netflix streams with ease but now i can use it to turn my TV on and i off, I only wish i could switch from TV-HDMI
