Great sounding lightweight almost full ear headphones. If you are looking for Bose quality noise cancelling, this is not the one. It does cancel noise but not to mow or use on a tractor, it is fine to reduce an airplane's noise. I have purchased 3 of these over the years, I like the price and reasonable durability and they simply work.

Purchased these headphones for an overseas trip to cancel noise. They worked superbly for that and packed so easily. Lightweight in your carry bag and very comfortable to wear.

It is getting harder and harder to find corded headphones. There is such a large selection of blue-tooth earphones instead. However, I primarily purchased these to use with my guitar amp when I don't want to disturb my family. And that means blue-tooth is no good for me. I was really happy to find this model in the store. These over-the-ear headphones are really comfortable, and the sound quality is excellent. The fact that they also fold for travel, are noise-cancelling, and come with an adapter for using with airplane entertainment systems is a big bonus. I recommend these headphones. They are outstanding for the price.

Bought these to replace an old head set. the quality of the product is well made. the sound quality with the additional booster is a must for those that have less then perfect hearing. The fit is good for both my husband on I and they really do cancel the noise when in use. I cant hear anything he is listening to no mater the volume.

Honestly, I needed a cheap regular pair of headphones quickly for a work thing. I didn't even realize they were noise canceling until I got on the airplane. I was REALLY surprised when I turned them on. Not only did they sound good with surprising bass response but the noise canceling was almost as good as MUCH more expensive Bose products I've tried. The only downside is a somewhat short and thin cord to connect to a player. I would have preferred a beefy cord that didn't feel so thin.

These headphones are lightweight and fit comfortably over your ears. Bought them for our kids, and we use them as adults as well. Sound quality is very good. Great value for the price.

Fit comfortably on the ears, was able to use on a variety of aircraft, noise canceling made a difference in sound quality, light weight, easy to travel with. Worth the price.

The sound that comes from these headphones is awesome. Loud and clear with nice bass. They fit very comfortably as well.

Bought two pair of these for an airplane trip. Worked very nicely - both my wife and I enjoyed the sound. I wanted the Bose wireless units but couldn't bring myself to pay $600 for a pair. These were on sale and I paid $140 for the pair. Good value for the money. Just don't forget to turn them off like I did, this killed the battery and they weren't ready for the flight home! Not the headphones fault -- it was all on me!

As I was preparing for a hospital stay, I realized I NEEDED headphones. So off to Best Buy to pick up something inexpensive. My ears get tired of ear buds after a short while, so I only considered over-the -ear type. These Sony headphones fit the bill perfectly with the added bonus of have noise-canceling technology. Hospitals can be very noisy and these helped my drown out the unwanted noise while being comfortable enough to wear while sleeping.

I bought these as a replacement for an older pair of Sony headphones that broke down. The older pair was lighter and had a longer cord, but these cost 25% less so I consider it a bit of a wash. These do a better job of blocking outside noises. I have **not** tried the noise-cancelling functionality yet, but look forward to using it on my next airplane trip.

I couldn't quite justify spending the $300+ on a pair of Bose noise canceling, but still wanted to get something as the airplane noise on international flights really bothers my ears. I was actually quite surprised at how much noise these canceled out. And also just as important, they wear very comfortably. Would totally suggest these if you aren't ready to spend hundreds on the Bose version!

These headphones are very good for the price. Great sound with a switching mode that enhances all low and high frequencies for superior music listening pleasure. I would highly recommend these headphones for the person who is looking for great sound and total audio spectrum and a less expensive priced headphones. Sony as usual has made great headphones and economically priced for the beginner and advance music listening pleasure.

These noise cancelling headphones have excellent sound quality, comfortable fit and are very lightweight. Use them at work and helps drown out noise coming from cube farm!

I bought these for using on the plane when traveling. They work fine and fold up decently for stowing away. I chose these for their lower price as I figured that while traveling you might be more likely to break them and if that happens, I wouldn't be as upset if I dropped $100 on a pair. I think my only negative is the ear pieces should be a little larger. Noise canceling would work better if they were larger. Otherwise, a good buy for the money.

I bought these and an additional pair for my wife for a 6hr flight, and they worked great! We had a crying child and loud laughter onboard, and we could barely hear them. Plus, they were still comfortable for the entirety of the flight- no ear pain whatsoever.

Needed a comfortable set of headphones for a gig I was playing. Ended up having to sit near an air conditioning unit. Didn't really want to pay a ton of money for a set of noise cancelling headphones - since I was taking them someplace where they might end up "walking". These were about $50 - $60 and worked great for what I needed. Still hear voices but hums from A/C unit at the gig and server room at work are non-existent when I use these headphones. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for something to cut down background noise and not break the bank.

When I opened the package, I was a little disappointed. Something about the plastic and construction on these felt kind of cheap, but to their credit they have been holding up fairly well. Even with me dropping a few times this past year. I just needed a fairly inexpensive set of headphones for basic listening, but these do sound pretty good when you turn on the boost function. It requires a single AAA battery, which I use rechargeables for this. Now, I did pay half price for these, so I am not so sure if I would pay the full price. I think it's still best to wait for a sale.
