Works great on the airplane to listen to movies or tv shows. Cancels out most of other noise and are very comfortable.

Hubby bought this noise cancelling headphone for me for Xmas for an upcoming trip. It has a good noise cancelling feature and is comfortable on the ear. Only reason I docked a star is because it doesn't come with a carrying case or bag.

I bought these headphones after the pair I had used for 10 years finally fell apart. I wish I had replaced them much earlier. This set is lighter, the sound is clearer and the noise canceling feature is much better. I am very pleased with the performance of this item.

Love the comfort and quality. An option for battery use is available but never used.

For the price it was great, good quality and the fact that it folds is great. Wished it had its own bag.

They are not total noise cancelling, but I can listen to homework lectures without the interruption of the tv and people making noise in the background. I love that they are lightweight & comfortable.

I was looking for basic, inexpensive headphones to take on a trip. They work well to drown out airplane noise and are very comfortable. They fold well to pack into a carry-on bag too. Wish they were a little less expensive.

quality headphones for the right price - great brand name known for quality and perfection- less than half the price than higher publicized ear phones but this contains noise reduction - great looking with very comfortable ear pockets

I bought these after wanting some over the ear headphone for quite some time. My budget was severely limited so I couldn't afford beats or nose which is REALLY good. So I saw these Sony noise cancelling ones for $50 and thought I'd give em a shot. They're not best out there, but they get the job done and they are comfy. I love that they fold in for storage.

I had an older pair on Sony head phones that fell apart after many years of service. Bought a new pair and found them to be more comfortable on the ear, better sound quality and cheaper than my old pair.

I've used these headphones on several flights since purchasing and i was amazed how much of the ambient noise is eliminated. Great headphones at a reasonable price. They were recommended to me and i would do the same for others.

Noise cancelling works well and headphones have good sound. Not as clear or quiet as a bose set but its hundreds of dollars less. You get a good set of headphones at a great value.

Comfortable on my ears. For most uses, noise cancelling not required, but is useful when needed. It can be turned off. I have not tried on an airplane. I use for listening to books on tape, not so much for music.

Purchased these to use when flying for work! Was a little skeptical of just how well the noise cancelling feature worked! Works awesome! I have noticed that when the battery starts going dead whatever you are listening too will start to fade in and out, no problem at least you know to keep a spare battery with you!

These headphones are well worth the price. they have better sound than I expected, Comfortable to wear for long periods. Have been using them while flying and they do the job well.
