Had these headphones for a few months and the sound is good and they are sturdy.

Even though they were only $50, these headphones provided a comfortable and enjoyable sound while traveling 12 hours by plane. Also liked how compact they were. Worth the price.

The headphones work well and the noise canceling function is effective. The headphones fold up for portability but they do not fold as compactly as my prior Sony headphones did. Since it folds up, Sony clearly expected people to travel with these headphones, which makes it very odd that a travel case was not included. This was a disappointing and glaring oversight.

A great quality item for the cost. Sound is crisp and actually pick up on background noises intentionally placed by the radio or tv networks. Fits comfortably and light weight.

I like to listen to audiobooks on the road, but my wife likes silence. Bought these to see if they would block out the sound. They handled ambient road noise fine, but pass voice freqs, so they didn't work for our purpose. Ended up going to a sports store and bought muffs for shooters that were much cheaper and blocked ALL sounds. This product would work fine if used as intended. (We returned the headset before we left the parking lot. No hassle return.)

Don't use headphones much but these are great for me on the plane. Comfortable & we're very affordable.

Bought these for a long airline journey overseas. They were quite comfortable, and the sound quality was great. My spouse was sorry he didn't have his own.

Perfect for my son, he uses them at school in the computer lab. They are comfortable but very affordable!

These headphones are good. My house can be noisy, and these headphones really help block out the noise so I can watch a movie, or listen to a book or music on my phone, tablet or laptop. They tend to cause some pain when I wear my eyeglasses, as they squeeze my ears and the eyeglass temples, so I try not to combine them too often.

The Sony Noise-Canceling Wired On-Ear Headphones strike a good balance between affordability and functionality. If you’re looking for budget-friendly headphones with decent noise canceling, these are worth considering.

The sound quality is good. When you turn on the noise cancellation is does remove some of the background noise. I am not sure if it removes all noise but enough that I didn't get distracted from watching my movie on the airplane. It does hurt your ears/side of head after wearing for several hours. I just removed it for a little while, and then I put it back on. So much better than earbuds.

Excellent product at a good price. Wore them on an airplane and barely could hear the ambient noise.

I am quite happy with these overall. They are comfortable and the sound quality is good. I mostly listen to Great Courses lectures so I can't speak to what a serious music buff might be looking for. I do get a fair amount of environmental background noise when loud TVs are playing but I don't that anything this side of $400 would fully eliminate that.

Really like these headphones as an inexpensive option. Adding volume control would put these at the top of the list for a low cost option. The folding feature is excellent and makes storing these headphones even easier. The sound quality is really good. The hissing from the sound cancelling takes some getting used to but works well when activated.
