Don't expect Dr Dre Beats for the price, but they do filter out some noise. Sound quality is good and an adapter for plugging into an airliner two-prong armrest jack is included. The phones turn 90 degrees, so you can put them in a quart bag to put in your carry on bag. Leave the batteries installed when processing through TSA checkpoint.

Bought these for my child and I like using them too. They are comfortable and work well. She enjoys using them with her Alexa and iPad.

This is the second pair of these I have owned. They are extremely comfortable and they sound great. I really enjoy the noise cancelling feature when I fly.

One for each kid, they aren't as expensive as beats, Bose or Samsung, but I don't feel guilty if they get broken. They do the job for a plane. They aren't as great as Bose but for the 250 swing in dollars, and the abuse and lack of handling from the kids nor would they be able to differentiate quality nor appreciate yet at their age, this headset does the trick for flights and travel!

I told an employee at Best Buy what I need and for what purpose, and he recommended this Sony model. I bought it without any further research, which I do not normally do, because I needed this asap to replace my old one, for work. This was the perfect headset for my needs. It is the right size- smaller than the last one I had- and the built-in mic makes it even more comfortable. The sound is very clear.

The sound of the headphones are really good but, do you think Sony could have put some foam on the head band. I'm 52 yo and I dont have much hair on my head and the head band hurts.

Materials and design felt cheap but sound was clear and the noise canceling worked well even with a not so good seal on the ear pads

Purchased at IAH from machine so glad i did very soft. Blocked out most noise and sound is great perfect to travel with compact store way!!

Totally do the trick for airplane travel. Have used Bose before and these are just as good at a much better price point

These headphones are comfortable and have great sound. I use them with my I pad to watch Netflix

I am more than happy with this headset. My old one had to be replaced because the ear buds ripped off the casing when my dog tried to jump on my lap. The old pair was a USB connection. This one is an audio jack connection and the associate who helped me when I was shopping said this connection will require less usage of the computer. The jack is also located on the opposite side of the laptop, so won't get tugged out of my ears when Ms. Puppy wants to jump on my lap! Additionally, they are very comfortable to wear as well as being noise reduction. My old ones weren't either.

Bought for my husband who still uses an iPod when he goes to the gym. He loves it! Says much better sound quality than his old on. Great headphones for the money!

Headphones are terrific. No ear pain like you get from earbuds. Keeps out noise when using on an airplane. Great value for the price.

I bought the Sony, Noise-canceling Over-the-ear Headphones, so that I could drown out all the ambient noise that a house creates. Once I put these headphones on, I am transported into my own world of sound without any outside disruptions. Only "problem" with the headphones is that my I can't hear my wife when she calls me!

These headphones allow me to hear clearly, aren't too tight, but don't move around during exercise either. Just what I needed!
