I hear a noticeable difference when activating power. But without power is still fine. The price I paid was $29, and seems much lower than other noise cancelling headphones. These do not cover the entire ear.

good sound, noise cancelling works. Just a little tight around my ears. Pretty good for its price. I use it for music as well as office meetings. The human voice somehow is very clear in this headphone among others I have.

Both ear pieces work, that is sound comes out of both. Headphones are comfortable.

Needed a pair of wired noise-cancelling headphones to use on plane rides. This works fine, and for the price is the best option. It's not the best sound quality, but it does the job.

I have a disabled brother with a hearing deficit and was looking for noise canceled headphones for him to use with his IPad. He can hear using headphones. I am not tech savvy. The young man who assisted me in the store (so wish I could remember his name!) was very knowledgeable and had worked with handicapped students in high school. He recommended this one for the price and quality. It couldn’t be a more perfect choice!

I found these headphones to be a good value. While not truly noise cancelling they are comfortable and keep the external noise to a minimum. The only frustration is the battery cover consistently falls off. Not a problem for me as I use them with my computer but if I used them when moving around it would get old quickly.

There are definitely fancier noise-cancelling headphones out there, but these are fantastic for a limited budget. They knock out 90+% of the constant ambient noise (road noise, refrigerator, airplane). They don't work well to eliminate variable noise like babies or people talking, though.

I'm a frequent traveler and wanted headphones that was comfortable and light weight and would help with noise control. These headphones have clear sound but doesn't provide must noise control. They are a little too bulky, but not too uncomfortable.

these are good for basic use, they are pretty flimsy and plasticky. sound quality and noise cancelling is great for teams meetings and calls, they do not have a mic though

Decent good sounding headphones for a last minute flight. Noise canceling is basic but works to a certain degree.

In all fairness they did not cost much which I know affects the construction of the product. Sounds is very good but head phones are little frail. Remember I expected this when I purchased it and so should you.

Noise cancelling? Headphones? doesn't make sense does it? Well slap these babies on and you will see that noise cancelling and headphones do indeed belong in the same sentence. Have "Talk to me" written on your head when you fly? Slap these on and drown out your talkative seat partner.

I was looking for a decent set of noise cancelling headphones without spending a ton of money. These do pretty well on a plane. They would do better if they covered more of your ears. They could also use some padding on the part that goes over your head.

Good buy and decent sound quality for the price. Worth the money.

Got it priced matched with walmart's website and the product did lived up to my expectation but the only downside is the short wire and if you forgot to turn off the noise cancelling feature, it will drain the battery quickly.
