Great battery!

It’s the same as the included battery with the Sony A9 and A7 Mark III cameras. Lasts about 700 shots per charge. It’s nice to have a spare and with the vertical grip, you can load two charged batteries for even more battery life.

Good battery

These newer batteries for the latest a7R iii model has pretty good life to it. I can shoot and still have enough power to last me for a few more hours.

Great OEM battery

What can I say, it is an OEM battery that works great. You spend thousands on a camera so you might as well by the OEM batteries to go along with it.

Longer shoot life

In the past I have used third party batteries that were cheaper but they did not provide the same output. Highly recommended for latest Sony FF cameras.

Works great and lasts a long time while I shoot! I'd buy directly from the manufacturer or from any other direct retailer, such as Best Buy.

Better than the NP-FW50

However, when it comes to the batteries they make life is short-lived. These cameras require a lot of juice, but considering the competition, Sony's battery life has never been that great. The NP-FZ100 has a tremendous longer battery life than the NP-FW50, but you will still need more than one to make it through a day's shoot using these batteries alone depending on what you shoot (photo or video).

This battery lasts all day for me. I keep an extra battery in my bag in case I do need the extra juice, but so far I have not needed to use it.

I ordered one to have as a spare to my a6600 and I have yet to run out of battery on the main. This may sit unused in my camera bag until I go backpacking or something.
