Battery is working as expected, what else to add here?

I was so happy when Sony decided to update their battery design. This one lasts so much longer than the previous design sony used in their mirrorless cameras. I can use one battery in camera and 1 spare with no concern about running low on power even for a weekend photo session. Great job Sony! Now if only we could get the price down a bit on these... wishful thinking.

I usually buy non branded batteries and for the most part, they work well. However, since after the newest firmware update, the generic batteries always causes the cameras to pop up a warning about non-official batteries. I figured, probably should just invest in at least an officail battery. Do not really need a lot of batteries anyway since these last a long time and a single battery is enough to last a day, at least for me.

This is a great battery lasting nearly all day for my A7R3. I do have a second battery just in case I need it but so far as a hobbyist I have been just fine without the 2nd battery. This is a HUGE step up from the prior generation battery for my A7 that I needed to carry minimum 4 batteries. Now, with my new A7R3, battery is no longer a big concern. Again, I do have 2nd battery in case I happen to go really crazy on a photo shoot.

I wanted an authentic Sony Z battery to keep as a spare for my A7III and didn't want to take a chance buying off of amazon because of so many marketplace sellers selling fakes. So went straight to Bestbuy and picked this up. The battery itself is amazing and lasts a really long time. With a full charge, I am easily getting 600+ shots in uncompressed RAW which is amazing. Very impressive!

Good quality. Cant go wrong with Sony, I was going to go with a a cheap brand but decided to not risk messing up my camera.

It is good to always have an extra battery for your camera and that it is better that it is of the original brand of your camera, with a very good performance and good value for the product

Must have for any Sony photographer-don't leave home without an extra one (or two)! Charges quickly.

OEM battery available when I needed it. Worked well; and interchangeable with original battery. I needed an extra battery on my photo trip and because its a lithium, shipping is not available to my home. OEM quality at same price without shipping delay

Holy moly does this thing maintain a charge. I bought a battery grip after hearing horror stories of the A7RII life. Luckily these new Z batteries are extremely long lasting. I ended up buying a second one to put in the battery grip. I dont have any anxiety and know I an shoot over 2 full days and be fine on battery.

This is the brand of battery that originally came with my SONY a7iii and I needed an extra one for days that required longer shoots. I bought this as a back-up and am grateful to have a second high quality battery to make sure I am able to capture all the moments at special events.

Great battery we liked them so much we've bought more then one of them and have bought for family members also

I bought a second battery thinking I would need it as I was told battery life was low for Sony. I’ve honestly spent and 8hr day shooting with a model and haven’t had to use the second battery but great to have just in case. I think for professionals you definitely need to buy spares as you would need to spend 8hrs+ shooting non stop.

I was expecting this battery to be less powerful than the one that comes with the camera, but I was surprised to find it holds a charge for a long amount of time in such high processing cameras!

Lasts longer than the previous 50 series battery. Battery lasts a long time anyway. This is what sony users were looking for and it's getting better. There aren't any 3rd party battery for these yet so users will have to get this one. Yes it's pricey but they are great batteries and being the named Sony brand is great and potentially good for resale. I use these batteries in my Sony A7 III and vertical grip.

Always need more batteries. This is good and has good life. It is what it is. Better than off brands by a lot. All batteries cost too much IMO.

Must have extra batteries for my Sony A7IV. Great quality and I would only put a Sony battery in a Sony camera, no 3rd party knock offs

I wish this battery wasn’t so expensive but it gets the job done. After a year or so you do notice the battery drains fast
