I bought a battery grip after hearing horror stories of the A7RII life. Luckily these new Z batteries are extremely long lasting. I ended up buying a second one to put in the battery grip. I dont have any anxiety and know I an shoot over 2 full days and be fine on battery.

Worked well; and interchangeable with original battery. I needed an extra battery on my photo trip and because its a lithium, shipping is not available to my home. OEM quality at same price without shipping delay

This is what sony users were looking for and it's getting better. There aren't any 3rd party battery for these yet so users will have to get this one. Yes it's pricey but they are great batteries and being the named Sony brand is great and potentially good for resale. I use these batteries in my Sony A7 III and vertical grip.

I’ve honestly spent and 8hr day shooting with a model and haven’t had to use the second battery but great to have just in case. I think for professionals you definitely need to buy spares as you would need to spend 8hrs+ shooting non stop.

Original Sony Battery - always better than generic

As a full time real estate photographer, the NPZ100 holds a charge for me all day when I'm on the job. I've tried the generic off brands and am usually disappointed as they don't hold a charge as long as the NPZ100.
