This isn't the first time I have bought a refurbished item, from my experience I haven't had any problems.

My son and I love playing on this ps3....It seems to be very good even for a refurbished unit ....

The Play Station 3 is a great game system and way to entertain yourself. This system has a great memory capacity. With it you can easily download and store several games (such as god of war, and dragon's crown) that you can purchase or receive for free from the Play Store all at once. Has a great interaction with certain apps such as YouTube, Netflix, and HBO just to name a few of them, although the set up can be slightly confusing at first it is very easy to get used to. It will also ask you if you are still there if you do not do anything with the controller after a certain amount of time and shut itself off if you do not respond. This console also has many of the same games as the Play Station 4, though it seems that the game companies have started to move away from making their games for both consoles and are just making them for the Play Station 4. Some of the Play Station 3s are backwards compatible, meaning that it is possible to play Play Station 2 games on the Play Station 3. This system also makes great use of a multiple profile function. This feature is great in that it allows for you to keep the data that you save in a game on your profile so it does not get mixed up with anyone else's. The controllers for the Play Station 3 have a fairly food battery life, but if you do not have a spare controller it can be a pain to charge while playing. The reason for this is because the charging cable is pretty small. It does give you a warning when one of the controllers is running low on batteries if it is being used. In my opinion the controllers for the Play Station 3 feel better than the controllers for the Play Station 4 but not quite as good as the controllers for the Play Station 2.

So the wireless does not work I got this as a gift so was not opened until after the 15 day return deadline I took into store and they basically said sorry about ur luck try the manufacturer. That's not right I will never buy from best buy again. I would have even considered upgrading to the ps4 if they would have credited me for the ps3 but would not even discuss

The ps3 is a real bad system I went xbox and is better

I bought mine to replace the original fat model. You'll have to upgrade the hard drive or all its good for is streaming netflix and playing games that don't take up a lot of memory.

This pre-owned PS3 was all I needed and satisfied the basic gaming needs for the children that visit our house. Price was much lower than the new PS4 that could have been purchased. Worked out great.

refurbished models are missing hhd mounting bracket. which cost me a additional 20 on amazon. Not to mention I can't play the games I own until I install a hhd. Not a big issue but one would think the system would come with all the parts it is supposed to have. only reason I dropped to 3 starts
