l'm really biased since all I've owned is from Sony. so this review might be a little useless to those wanting a fair asessment of platforms. but since the inception of playstation i have never been dissapointed by them.

The PS4 provides additional gaming options and a wider selection of games to be played than any single gaming box. It also provides on-line gaming options so that you can play with friends even when they are not physically with you.

My husband loves his PS4. I myself am not a fan. He has several games he plays regularly which generally prevent us from having date nights. As a matter of fact, he loves it so much, he’ll stay up all night on Friday and Saturday night playing and then sleeps all day Saturday and Sunday. If he was writing this review, it would get 5 stars, I’d give it 1 star, but he loves it so much, that would be unfair. I would not recommend any wife buy this for her husband.

Sony has developed this console very precisely, keeping in mind what a true gamer wants. Graphic engine is super amazing!

It works great graffix are good it was just a bit confusing and took awhile to set up

Great graphics, some really good games, but wish they would remaster the Spyro games like they did with Crash Bandicoot!

My son had his PS4 stolen and was pretty upset about it so I came and bought him a new 1 and it's been working great for him ever since. He really enjoys it and it keeps him occupied from the distractions of the streets.

2nd buying for the month, Great way to spend some of your spears time.

Honestly, I am not a gamer at all but I was pleasantly surprised when I bought this system for my teenage son. Lots of options to play with his friends. Being mainly a sports kind of kid, I don’t worry about him becoming addicted.

Even if it wasn't for all the great games on this console, the PS4 over the years has become a great media hub in itself through video streaming, music, and even TV now, easily putting it as the centerpiece to your living room.

Nice size and plenty of hard drive space, great deal for the price. I haden't purchased a new console since the Wii having been mostly PC at this point, but a few of the playstation exclusives sold me on getting on and I'm very happy with it.

The PlayStation 4 is a great console. Wasn't able to get my hands on the PlayStation 5 but was able to get this. enjoying it so far, thank you.

I had a first generation PS4 for about 4 years since it's release, and since then it's had some time to grow old to the point where the fan was louder than my brothers PC, so that's when I got this new version, and wow it's quieter than before now!

Bought this because the Pro was sold out everywhere and a storm fried my original when the power flickered on and off . Seems to do the job but not as powerful as the pro !

I owned ps 3 before this and it certainly was lot more noisier than this. This machine is lighter and quieter than its predecessor. I have played for about 8 hrs straight and ps4 works without any issues. The ps4 controllers seems to work longer too. In my view, Sony should look to pack in more power and reduce size of the machines the same time. Gaming consoles should be super portable.

Have always been an Xbox fan! From the original Xbox to the Xbox one I’ve had them all. I got a PS4 for free and when it was no longer working I upgraded to this... it has taken place of my Xbox one and I do not regret purchasing this at all!

We bought this console for our daughter. Something to do during covid 19 Stay at home order! She likes it pretty well. It’s also convenient that you can install Netflix and amazon prime on the console.

My old ps4 started to sound like a jet engine and it was impossible to get a ps5 at the time but this is still going strong no issues
