Plenty of reviews out there, but if you are apprehensive about a PS4 due to the PS3 controller you should know it has all changed. PS4 controller has so many improvements upon its predecessor. I have both X1 and PS4 and I can say either one is well worth the money, it really just comes down to your friends and your exclusive game preferences.

At this point there probably isn't much else to say about the PS4 you haven't already read. The interface is wonderful, such an upgrade over PS3. I love the multitasking that can be performed while gaming, even while the game is on the loading screen, you can still zip into PS store and grab a demo download (which btw all downloads are now in the background and you can continue doing anything else) or adjust settings, or anything else that you couldn't do before while gaming. The system is great, I am glad I upgraded. I was also pleased with the trade in value I got on my PS3, games, and accessories. As far as the Last of US - I know I am in the minority here but I really didn't get the big fuss over it. Yes it's a great game, but not the best game I have ever played. To me it was on the level of Uncharted (which makes sense given it's the same studio) which is great, but nothing transcendent. If you want the system I would opt for the bundle that gives you the 4 game choice of downloads. Again this game is very good, but it was simply a throw in to me already buying the system, I didn't get this bundle for the game. If you're still on the fence like I was, just get the PS4 - you won't regret it.

I initially thought ps3 vs ps4 there is not much difference as most titles are still common but after playing on this for a month i can see the difference in processing power, time to boot and the graphics which are much superior. The only thing i dont like now is that multiplayer is payed vs free on ps3. Nevertheless best gaming console out there not just because of specs but has the better titles than any other platform

My son loves his ps4 and is get graphics and easy to use. Has the whole family paying together..

Just an awesome console. I got it on a great trade in deal when I traded in my PS3. Got The Last of Us - Remastered with it. And the graphics are just the next level of excellence. I am so impressed with this machine. Can't wait to play all the brillinat games that will come out on this one since they will for sure look amazing.

I'm not a huge gamer, but the PS4 is definitely impressive. Great graphics, easy and attractive interface, and a great line up of games. Also doubles as a DVD player! The Last of Us is an awesome game, a great challenge and an interesting story line. I didn't play the PS3 version so I don't know what the difference is between that one and this remastered version. Overall, great purchase! Definitely worth it.

The graphics on the PS4 are phenomenal. I was playing Destiny when someone walked in and thought I was watching a movie. It is interesting to see onscreen characters' lips moving in sync with what they are saying. Only drawback is how hot the console gets. I had to add a base with built in fans to the console and add ventilation to the back of the cabinet since it is in an enclosed entertainment center.

We are not technically savvy, and have always required help when installing electronic equipment. The Playstation 4, though was SUPER simple to install - and very easy to operate. Our only complaint is that the remote control (purchased separately) does not work well with HULU. It works for all other apps we have, though.

Best Play Station Yet! Very fast and great graphics

I am extremely happy with my purchases. Best buy had the same price for the actual console compared to competitors but advanced warfare was $20 cheaper and offered a year of PlayStation plus for $20 off compared to anywhere else. All in all best value when I bought it. Graphics are night and day better over PlayStation 3.

Have owned Playstations previously and this one seems just as good as before. Only used for a week so far but no complaints from my son and he usually has something he finds wrong with things. He purchased xbox one last year and has not been happy with several things and regrets getting that and is back to Playstation!

Very user friendly, easy to set up, speed is very fast and a lot of memory available

I already own the xboxone, so now I can play exclusive games on both systems. Fantastic graphics at 1080p. Playstation Plus is a must as you get great discounts and free games monthly. E3 this year proved that I will be enjoying many exclusive titles on the system soon. It's only downside so far to my knowledge is that I can't hook up an external HDD through USB like I did on the xbone.

you can do more with the ps4 and the graphics are really smooth, it really good

I waited to get this system until I really gave my XBox One a good run. Now I use the PS4 for gaming and the XBox as my TV tuner for my cable box. The PS 4 has great games and the graphics look slightly better on the PS 4 than the XBox. The dashboard is not as nice looking or easy to navigate compared to the XBox, but there are not as many settings that are barred like in the XBox.
