great upgrade from the PS3. Quiet, easy set up. warning though, some games, like Lego Star wars, require internet connection, even when not using network features, which is a big bummer compared to the PS3. Also ps3 games are not backwards compatible, but many of them are re-released on PS4. Graphics are great. It still takes too long to load games sometimes, but "rest mode" or standby mode is a great addition. I also find that the new wireless controller eats batteries more quickly, but it's nice to have a headphone jack on the controller. ALSO, the bluetooth headphone options are limited. I have a high -end set of Sony Bluetooth headphones, which despite being another SONY product, are not compatible. Only the "playstation" branded bluetooth headphones work, not the end of the world, but a little annoying. Also, in regards to networking, despite having a 200 Mbps hardwired connection, the playstation servers are super slow, meaning it can still take a long time to download games, etc. The 500GB hardrive is the minimum I would recommend, even though I don't really game online or download a lot, PS4 games just require more space whether you like it or not. It's impossible to play a game from the CD/blueray without it downloading additional updates, etc. that have to be stored locally. Haven't had any problems, (aside from realizing some games required a network connection despite being run from the CD), but if I had to do it again, I'd add the geek squad $50 protection just in case.

Not wanting to invest in 4K UHD Television, I elected to stick with the PlayStation 4 Slim. All the games on a 1080P TV, Graphics are still optimum and exciting. Would highly recommend this unit. If you're an ultimate gamer and have the money to invest in the very best, opt for the pro. But you'll have to invest in the new TV and the High speed HDMI cable to gain any advantage over the Slim. This is a good gift purchase for anyone interested in gaming. The bundle comes with the new slim model which is great for anyone looking to get a ps4 and one of PS4s best games, Uncharted 4. The new slim model takes up very little room in the entertainment system and the new improved power and eject buttons are ACTUAL buttons. So no more accidental disc ejects. Overall good price for what you get!

Coming from a long term Xbox fan, the PS4 blew me out of the water! The amount of exclusive games that are all amazing is fantastic! 10/10 would reccomend!

I bought this for my girl friend as an early xmas gift. This is a great system in a small package. Now she can play online multiplayer with me on my ps4 pro. un boxing it I was like I want it.. Its size is just right and fits nicely next to out tv in the bedroom. I recommend it to anyone looking for a game system with online movie streaming thru Netflix etc.. Also has Spotify streaming as well.

Most people already know what to expect from PlayStation, the PlayStation 4 is a phenomenal gaming system. It has very Vivid graphics and the system itself or spawns seamlessly and effortlessly. My only concerns or drawback is with the PlayStation Network which depending on does have a day and day of the week can be phenomenal or frustrating. That only goes to show the popularity of this platform

This is my first foray into the world of Playstation (I have added this with the Xbox One S to my gaming arsenal) and it is really quite nice. It is the slim line model so the actual footprint is quite small. The heat output is of no consequence even when under load, and gaming experience is tremendous. Really love the ergo of the controllers. Overall this is a good matchup to the Xbox offerings.

Bought this last year for my wife for Christmas. It was the perfect gift - got her into gaming, gave us another activity to do together, and it's fun.
