Slick, small, but hot in the back

Still, probably cooler overall than the Launch unit. If you find a great deal or need something small, get this; otherwise: wait for the PS4 Pro.

great console for a beginner

For people who don't have a need for 4K, the ps4 slim is much more economical than the pro. overall an awesome console! haven't encountered many problems at all.
