Old PS4 (release date version) was having issues opening menus in Borderlands 3. Swapped it out for this one. It helped with the menu issue. Probably not worth it if you already have a standard PS4 like me. Especially since it does NOT play 4k discs.

I bought this for my teen age daughter. When we got it set up it took two days for the console to complete all of the updates before she could use it. Xbox is much better.

Bought in Dec. 2019. If I restart it, I have to unplug console or it won’t turn back on. Other than that it works fine.

I bought this on sale to play with Horizon Zero Dawn...and ended up returning it. In my opinion it's not worth it. The distant detail was god awful and looked like something out of a ps3. It was slow and stuttered a lot when loading assets while traversing the open world. The lag is so awful and only 30 fps, just feels so sluggish. If you're use to it you might not notice but I do as I've played at 60 fps for awhile. The detail looked like medium settings and this system is clearly gimped, I can't imagine how bad the experience would've been on a base ps4 and we're in 2019. I wanted to try a ps4 this gen before the ps5 came out to play some of their exclusives but this experience reminded me why I've avoided consoles this gen. Sony needs to adapt and build a better quality console that can run games at higher detail and 60 FPS or i'm gonna hard pass on next gen as well. Shame because Horizon Zero Dawn is actually a good game from what I played of it and I would've loved to be able to play it at it's full potential but these systems are holding these games back.

Well I couldn’t wait to get my new PS4 and try out The Show 2019. Well it’s been over a week and I have only gotten through one full 9 inning game. After spending hours dropping and adding players and rearranging my MLB team and 3 minor league teams then going to the start of the season, 4 times, and then the game freezes up. The only relief is trying to turn it off and starting all over again. I went online and read about the freezing issues and tried everything but no luck. Now my PS4 is sitting there waiting for me to fire it up and reshape the team again for 3 or 4 hours. I will try it one more time before I return it. Thankful I took out the 2 year warranty from Best Buy, no question asked because I am not in the mood. By the way, my PS3 played thousands of hours according to my monthly email and I never had a problem. I think I was in my 5th season of the show 2014. I’m very disappointed with the PS4 and I am hoping to get it worked out because the gameplay on Show 2019 was great.

Bought it on black Friday to upgrade from my launch PS4 since I already had the Xbox One X wanted both 4K systems, we days later after using it 3 times tried turning it on bright light flashed in the rear with popping noise when I pushed the power button and it was dead.

The ps4 pro is not different than there regular ps4, the only good thing is that it has 500 gbs of space, that’s it, it performs just like a regular ps4, there’s nothing really pro about this ps4. I love PlayStations and I hate to give this one such a bad review but is just really not worth it

Way to expensive at best buy should have gone somewhere else

It crashes all the time during gameplay in all games that I have. Sony says it is due to internet connection. I am not playing any on line games, so I am not thrilled. I will make a hardwire connection and see if it improves.

I never recieved my playstation pro evertime you guys said it was on its was it got 4 different shipping dates i wanted on all them dates an no play station then i see on my phone it was delivered Im trying to figure how this works no body called my phone nobody knocked on my door i ordered that playstation for my daughter an didn't know what to tell her but it on its way smh.i dont know how to get my money back from this no numbers to call at all

Ps4 pro harddrive give out less then a month. Next time I get a ps4 or any game system I'm gonna ask for one from the back

Had the slim works perfect and went and bought the pro and the Wi-Fi connection is poor doesn't grab the connection and when I do it's loose the connection.

I don’t like that you have to install every game into the system and it always takes a long time.

Did not have game disk included. Now I have to waste my time returning it for another one.
