First off this purchase was absolute luck. The Ps5 however is a true Next Gen console. It’s start up time is quicker than previous generations and it’s ability to multitask between games and the Home Screen is unmatched. It’s usability is phenomenal if your looking to quickly dart in and out different games or media. The biggest downside I will saw though is it’s storage capacity. It falls short of a 1TB HD but does give you the ability to use external as well as close space so that you can continue gaming.

Its ok. No rush to pick one up if you haven't. Will take a while for them to establish games for this. Yes there are some slight upgrades to current ones. Nothing fancy. For me the frame rate increase is well worth the purchase. Games load little better. Run smoother. Not a bad setup. Bugs and issues on launch. Haven't broke mine yet and its got 100 hours on it probably. Never put it into rest mode due to the fears I have heard online. I left it on overnight to download some stuff. Just turned the TV off. See the picture. A restart didn't fix the issue. It just rebooted like that. I didn't just try removing and reconnecting the hdmi so I dont know if that maybe would have fixed it. I ended up just going straight to safe mode and setting the resolution to 4k and it booted fine after that. Haven't had any download issues. Had several games crash in short spans and then continue to work for 10s of hours after. Nothing specific seemed to trigger it. Other than that its great. Controller is good. Dont care for haptic triggers. Dont really care for Ray tracing or any of that either. Would prefer a very stable 60fps any day. Menus take some getting used to. I never watched any videos and learned as I went. Struggled a few times. Even trying to close a game or shut the thing down took me a minute. I think it could be better and needs some refining.

Coming from a high end pc to PS5 was easy. I got demon souls with my purchase and by far the most fun playing a game I have ever had!

One of best gaming platform to date. The PS5 controller alone is a game changer while playing Astro playroom. If you are still on the fence of buying a next generation console. Buy a PS5, as the games are generally more console exclusive. You wont regret it. On the movie side: watching blurays is fantastic, hopefully waiting for dolby vision and atmos support on a software update in the future. As a tip, for the best gaming and watching experience, upgrade to a new TV that supports HDMI 2.1. This is how the PS5 is meant to be played.

Great system. Dual Sense controller was a great experience coupled with Astros playroom out of the box, enjoyed it more than i thought i would.

This is a great system! This was a birthday gift for my then boyfriend before he proposed. Sure getting this gift might have helped with that ;). My fiancé and I have enjoyed playing this system together during this pandemic. One can only handle so many streaming services before you need a little more brain stimulation. We have no complaints other than to be careful lighting a candle while the system is on, or the spot from the candle will adhere to the white panels. Luckily it’s easy to wipe off with a microfiber cloth!

What can I say? It's a PS5, and if you know you know. If you don't already know, you aren't gonna learn it from my review. Fast. Sexy. 4K.

The Dual Sense controller truly shines here, this is my favorite home console traditional gamepad that I've ever had the pleasure of using, and I've used them all! The console is quick, speedy, and the 4K HDR looks amazing on my new LG CX OLED TV. It can run games just about as well as a PC built around an RTX 2080! This is the closest console gaming has come to reach par with recent high-end PC gaming for some time, maybe ever! Also, PS+ comes with dozens of free games that are normally expensive individually on other consoles.

I had lost hopes in finding a PlayStation 5 before Christmas. However, I received a notification on December 21st from the Best Buy app that there is an exclusive access for members. I checked to see if the PS5 was available, and to my surprise, I could see the Add to Cart button enabled. I quickly rushed to my computer as it's easier to checkout. Best Buy had ensured that bots would find it hard to checkout. After a few tries, I had the PS5 purchased. Best Buy had ensured that it was available for pick up on December 24th.

Overall it is a great product and I love, but it's just hard to but. Hopefully the buying experience will get better soon.
