Take the Leap
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried for a year to get one, finally did it, and I'd say it is definitely worth it. Faster load times, faster update times, better sound when I use my speakers, cleaner user interface, better controller for my large hands, interesting new haptic feedback, better quality graphics, and more. If you are pressed for cash it isn't a must have, but if time is money to you and you can splurge a little, I'd say... take the leap.

PlayStation 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony PlayStation 5 is an excellent upgrade. Load times are greatly reduced, graphic capabilities improved, a nice new user interface, this system delivers. I was unsure about the new dualshock but the haptic feedback is a game changer, certainly one of my favorite features of this new gaming generation. One of the best launch lineups ever with Miles Morales Spider-Man, Demon Souls and the stacked third party lineup this fall. This is a big system though, think computer tower big.

PlayStation 5 Review
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is a meaningful evolution of Sony’s achievements compared to its other generations. With its sleek design and forward-thinking plan for the current generation, whether that’s through its unmatched SSD technology or the 4K-capable graphics power. Combine this with a compelling user interface, growing selection of exclusive titles make the PS5 one of the best consoles you can buy right now.

Ps5 best gaming system
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am enjoying my Playstation 5 load times for my PS3 PS4 AND PS5 GAMES. Now things get even easier with the Ui of the Playstation interface when you use something called switcher which allows you to jump from game to game or from YouTube back to any game or media App the transition is seemless and so fast. The system is extremely Quiet it makes no noise no matter the work load that I give it. The quality of the Playstation 5 is awesome including the Controller and stand that comes with the Console. The Console has like this brick like texture design on the inside of the white pillars That feels good to the hand. You can also take the Pillars off and Customized your PS5 pillars by Painting them whatever color you want to. You can also add your name and designs on the pillars without causing any damage to the PS5 internally and Externally. So over all the Quality of the system is A 5star rating for me. The Console does not over heat and it plays smoothly the positioning of The PS5 is Customizable because it comes with a stand that allows you to sit it up vertical or Horizontal The PS5 To me is Vaule at the correct price because you not only The PS5 is completely backward Compatible with my PS4 DISC AND DIGITAL Games. So the vaule of the system i also give it 5 stars. The PS5 Still has alot of updates that is coming to its operating system/UI that will allow it to have the expandable storage option, and that will allow even more smoother connectivity with PS3 and PS4 games. I have Also given a Over all five star rating to how efficient it is to operate the PS5 system. The interface Separates your game media from your entertainment media meaning when you only want to game you just scroll over to the gaming media side, and when you want to watch all your entertainment media like YouTube or Hulu and Netflix you just scroll over to the entertainment media option which is less then a second.

It's all that!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The next generation of game consoles, doesn't disappoint!! The shape if it—love it or hate, the Playstation 5 is a winner. Games load super fast, graphics are amazing even on a non 4K screen. And the controller is something you just have to experience! Really small learning curve coming from a PS4/Slim/Pro. If there is one complaint it would be I wish Sony put a bigger HD. It fills up!! Otherwise, if you are lucky to get one, just plug it in and enjoy the ride!!

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best gaming console as per me. Really love the quality and speed. They could have a little more in-built storage as the existing one is good enough only for about 5 good games.

Just Wow! Get it if you can!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PlayStation 5 is a colossal piece of technological art in every way, from its slick futuristic design to its many technological advances. PlayStation has found another way to keep pushing the boundaries within the home entertainment and gaming world. While loading times still exist for many games, the ones that are optimized for the PS5 by taking advantage of its custom SSD speeds can experience blazing fast load times to even no load times depending on the game with the high-end graphics. While the SSD's storage is not as big as promoted I feel that it's a good trade-off for the performance you can get. Plus in the future, once the update is released internal storage can be added to the console to increase one's gaming library. Other amazing features of the console include such things a Ray Tracing which is lighting that is rendered more accurately and another for some games is 120hz gaming. While the console is expensive the features you pay for are amazing. Many PC builds within the same price range have a hard time matching the power of the PS5. While I know it's hard to get your hands on and it might just seem like overhyped hardware for some please don't give up on getting it. Keep your head up and you'll get one one day, If you never experienced fast SSD load times, 3D Audio, 60hz, 120hz, 4k, and Ray Tracing it's truly an experience to behold. I never understand the hype of any of those things till I experienced them myself. So if you have the opportunity to buy a PS5 preferably from #BestBuy because the reserved checkout system is the best, take it. It's something that you have to experience for yourself. The console is just amazing! Now, what are you waiting for Greatness Awaits!

The Next Generation of Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are able to get your hands on a PlayStation 5, you will not regret it. Coming from a base PS4, the new console is a major step up. The main thing you will notice right away is just how fast it is in comparison to the PS4. Menus pop quick, the PlayStation Store is snappy, and best of all, most games take advantage of the new SSD, allowing them to boot up within seconds and take you right into the action. No more looking at your phone for minutes on end waiting for your game to start. With its ability to display at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, games look better than ever and feel better than ever to play, particularly if you can get your hands on a 4K TV. The PS5 arguably has the best launch lineup of games available, especially when compared to past consoles and even the Xbox Series X. There's really something for everyone, from Spider-Man, to Sackboy, and even Demon's Souls. A few things to keep aware of: 1) This thing is huge, whether you lay it horizontal or prop it up vertically, 2) Storage space for the SSD is lacking, until we are able to add additional storage (which is not yet enabled), so I'd advise not filling up your SSD with every PS5/PS4 game you have (unless you have access to an external HDD for PS4 games), 3) Menus are simple but a bit cumbersome coming from the PS4 (some things are hidden, some require extra unnecessary button presses, and the layout for trophies is not great). Despite some flaws at the outset, the PlayStation 5 is more than worth the $400/$500 it costs if you are an avid gamer. The blazing fast SSD, the innovative controller, and the quality of life improvements make this system a much needed entry point into the next generation of video game consoles.

Next Gen is Here!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The console is an amazing piece of technology. Everything about this system seems next gen. The games loads so fast that it reminds me of the days of cartridges. The menu is slick and the controller is freaking awesome, talk about next gen with its adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. With this being the launch of a new system of course it going to have some bugs that will need to be patched up. Other than that this system is amazing.

It's a PS5!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say? It took a while to get but has been perfectly worth it. Looks incredible and honestly wasn't expecting to fall in love with it at first sight. Definitely bigger than you might think it is. But it's a beautiful tower that runs quiet. The DualSense controller isn't a gimmick either, games that support it really feel a whole lot more immersive. If you have a chance to get it, you wont regret it!

Well done Sony
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing upgrade over the PS4! Everything is sharper, cleaner, and all around better - plus the loading times are fantastic. The real show stopper is the Dual Shock 5 controller. Everyone that uses the haptic feedback triggers giggles like a kid - the feeling truly adds another level to the gameplay. Only downside - this is a big console, like 1990's VCR big. That said, it fits in most places and has a well designed appearance.

A huge generational leap, more compelling that XSX
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is huge. Physically, it’s a bit taller than other consoles, including the XSX, but that’s not what I mean. The PS5 is a huge generational leap in all aspects from the PS4 and PS4 Pro, and has features that the XSX lacks or does not implement as well. At $400 for the digital and $500 for this version, it’s not cheap. Add in a TV that can take advantage of the 4K 120Hz signal and this is quite an expensive toy. But compare it to a PC, a last-gen console, or even the XSX, and it is huge value for the money. The graphics are incredible. My PC has a 3090 and I prefer the PS5 for quite a few titles. The XSX is technically more powerful, but Sony squeezed every last drop of potential out of this chip with a very good cooling design. The exclusives are top tier games that consistently make 9/10+ on metacritic. Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales and Ghost of Tsushima stand out to me as must-play that are only on the PS5. Seeing as Halo is now a PC cross release, the exclusives on Sony’s side win them here. The controller (DualSense) is a leap above DualShock and the XSX controller. The haptics are incredibly accurate and impactful, I can actually feel my horse gallop in Ghost of Tsushima and feel the trigger tighten in Returnal. All in all, I’m glad I chose the PS5. If only it was easier to get one.

Amazing Gaming Experience
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having a PS5 for about 1 year now I can honestly say that I have been nothing but impressed. The graphics and ray tracing look absolutely incredible (as long as you have a TV capable of producing such results). As advertised the load times are almost nonexistent. The haptic feedback on the controllers is also a much welcomed addition to the package. At first I thought it sounded gimmicky at best and annoying at worst; but, I was pleasantly surprised at how much it adds to the experience and is a great feature. I have never had any overheating, disc read errors, or anything of the sort; however, I did initially have an issue with downloading a game to the console from a disc to have the system delete it from memory for me to go through the process once more. This only happened on one occasion in the very beginning and was quickly fixed after resetting the console (based on Sony tech support). But, every new piece of tech will always have some issues so I can't knock it for it. Overall, this purchase was very much worth the money if you are looking to drastically improve your gaming experience and with all the new games coming out, you will have endless amounts of hours to enjoy it. Just make sure you get a high quality HDMI cable that is capable of at least 4K at 120 as the provided HDMI cable will not be able to produce these results.

Digital is the way.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initial thoughts on the disc-based PS5 after a couple of days use. The console is by turns gigantic and Cupertino-designed spaceship sleek compared to previous generations. A far cry from the Atari VCS where my video game odyssey began with a cousin's unwanted Christmas gift in 1980. My eight-year-old self would have jumped at the chance of owning a console and accessories in Imperial Stormtrooper livery. Rebels! Schmebels! Initial setup was buggy and a few apps crashed but that comes with day-one territory. Following a quick restart and system software update, the PS5 (mounted horizontally as if levitating a la Dua Lipa) runs whisper quiet and lightning-fast compared to its PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation 4 (PS4) predecessors. The solid-state drive (SSD) impresses. The Blu-ray disc drive supports 4K UHD, unlike the PS4 Pro. The look and feel is premium next-gen in spite of a lack of customisation options for the dashboard (post-launch updates will fix that) and the DualSense controller is a joyful revelation: an inspired fusion of PlayStation and Nintendo innovation distilled in Astro's Playroom (pre-loaded on every PS5). This gaming gem is haptic feedback heaven and here's hoping third-party developers utilise it. The DualSense is my new favourite controller of all time after years of advocating the excellent Xbox controller over PlayStation's DualShock (DS), which I've never got on with since the launch of the original PlayStation 25 years ago

Best Playstation ever, enjoy it more than my XBX
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this in early 2021 and have enjoyed it weekly ever since. First off, graphics and especially loading times are noticeably improved over my ps4 pro. The controller being a bit larger took a bit to get used to, but with the added tech and most of all the built in mic I have to say I'm a huge fan. The only thing to dislike the is the smaller storage space. After installing CODMW, hitman 3, GT7, and maybe GTA5 the storage is pretty much full. I had to add an external 1 tb SSD initially but now have an internal 2TB and the thing flies through everything. Had a 4k but just ordered an LG C2 to be able to play at 4k 120. I also have an Xbox series X and prefer the PS5. The grpaics seem equal but the UI is much nicer in the PS5 and the controller on the xbox seems and feels very cheap. The buttons, the weight, no mic and it uses batteries. I only have the XBX for flight sim and forza, and flight sim has overheated the XBX multiple times for me. Not sure why, they side by side in an open space.

Simply outstanding !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have been really enjoying the PS5. Graphics are a nice improvement. The best things by far about this system to me is the new dual sense controller which is outstanding. Very well implemented all the way around. I can’t wait to see what they can do as time goes. Next is the SSD with load times and install. With 1gb fiber the Ps4 used to take 1-3 hours to download a game the ps5 takes me 10-15 min.

Blazing fast load times, stunning graphics with 4K resolution at 60FPS! Innovative new controller with adaptive triggers and enhanced haptic feedback adds a new level of immersion to certain titles like Astro’s Playroom!
