Beautiful Console, but it's huge!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this console for about a week now and I absolutely love it. I do not recommend getting the PS5 yet due to the reason that there's a only short list of PS5 games out currently. It's such a beautiful console, the only downside is the size. It's a big console and I do mean BIG. So make sure you have room for this beast before you decide to buy it. The controller is amazing, I absolutely love the haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers. It feels like you are in the game yourself running around and exploring. The controller makes the game every bit more immersive. The console also comes with a free pre-installed game called Astro's Playroom. The value of this console is average for now just because there isn't many PS5 games out yet.

Very good console
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had it for about 2 years now and no issues. Games load very fast. Console is quiet as long as you dust it accasionaly. The glossy bit in the center can be prone to scratches so id recommend some cover for that. Overall it's the best console I've had so far, the only big downside is that it kinda lacks in the storage size. For the controller, the haptic feedback is a very neat feature. Games I play often tho I turn it off. The joysticks lasted ab a year and a half before getting noticable stick drift. That's one issue with newer PlayStation controllers. My PS3 controller lasted me a good 4 years.

Truly next gen
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in love with my PS5 and I don't really even care about the next gen launch consoles. I've really just been playing The Last of US Part II so far, but the graphics, speed and controller are all amazing. If this game is last gen, I can't wait to see what Sony can do with next gen! The controller is probably my favorite part. For me, it even out does the XBOX Elite controller in feel which has been my go to for many many years. It just feels high quality and perfect to use. I never feel like I'm missing the buttons or fatiguing my hand like I did with the PS4 controller. Setup was easy and I experienced none of the bugs or crashes that others have described. I transferred my old games and saves via a USB SSD. Was fast and simple.

It was worth everything
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely an upgrade from the PS4! Amazing graphics and frame rate and the Dualsense is literally a game-changer! It's the best part of the PS5, u feel and hear everything going on within the game through the controller, like the rumble from the Nintendo Switch but more intense and advanced, not to mention the adaptive triggers! You feel the tension of firing a gun or shooting a bow and so on, it's so much more immersive and the 3d audio works great as well! The console isn't perfect, has a few things it can work on but it's more of personal preference I guess. I knew the console was going to be big but man! lol I'm a 28-year-old guy and it's literally the size of my leg but I love it!!

Could not be more happy with my purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love my PS5. I bought it in January of last year when it was super hard to get your hands on one, and most people were paying crazy prices to get one, I was able to get this one at BB for $499 because I was lucky and caught them while they had a new shipment in. I can play all my games with amazing image quality and performance, and also stream video from just about any streaming service that you could want. It also works as a Blue-Ray player which is awesome. Could not be more happy with my purchase, I use my PS5 everyday and will be using it for years to come.

Awesome Unit!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a PlayStation unit since PS1 and every update is better then the last. This is no exception. The processing power, graphics and new UI are amazing. It takes a little bit to get used to because it is different from the PS4, but that is part of the fun for me. I am disappointed there is no optical port for my headphones I use, but with an adapter, that problem is solved. I like the design and the new controller is amazing. I can't wait to see where PS takes this new console. I do hope they activate the M2 drive soon though. Space is definitely an issue. I was also very lucky to get one at this time because of all the bots out there taking these from people that actually want to use them.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic piece of gaming hardware. The ps5 runs quietly. The design and finish are beautiful. Overall it is a bit large but I don’t mind it. The controller is awesome and it’s going to change the industry.

Finally!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally managed to luck out and snag the PS5 and it’s a great system so far with an exciting lineup of games soon to be released. Hopefully it will be easier to get soon. The system was easy to set up and transferring the data from my PS4 was easy too. I love that they included backwards compatibility with PS4 games and that some games are even getting a free upgrade if you already own them. Load times are almost non existent and the system boots up immediately which is great. Astros Playroom is included and it is a fun but short game that shows off the system and controller. I picked up Demons Souls and the graphics for that game are amazing! Can’t wait to try more games in the future!

Next Gen Goodness!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PS5 so far has been amazing. Fast UI, fast load times, consistent high frame rates and a lot of great games! I enjoyed the pre-installed Astro’s Playroom more than I thought I would. The console is bulky and big but it runs quiet. I did purchase the digital version which looks better to me without the disc drive hump. It all depends on your preference though. Not having a disc drive works for me since I have good network speeds. Overall, I cannot wait to see what more this generation of gaming has to offer! If you’re having trouble getting a PS5, don’t give up! And don’t buy from a scalper. Just be patient and keep trying, more are on the way! Soon, you too, will be enjoying next gen goodness!

PS5 Really Love It
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great system. Nice graphics. Huge upgrade from the ps3. Love the controller. Nice that you don’t have to use a headset if the person you are gaming with has a ps5 too.

The best PS console to date
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I am loving my PS5. backwards compatible games running at 69FPS if unlocked frame rates, blazing load times on optimized last gen games. Almost non detectable load times on miles morales. The UI is sleek, the controller feels great with the heptic feedback and adaptive triggers with Astro playroom which blows me away. I do need folders on the UI and need all ps plus collection games optimized for the PS5. It’s a no brainer to get PS5 for $500 when I paid $600 on PS3 day one. PS5 is very powerful and already prove so far that it can get close to 120 FPS and is out performing Xbox series x in FPS slightly in some new games like Valhalla and definitely with load times on the new release games.

A competent next gen system
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on a whim since it was available. Normally a pc/Xbox gamer. I was at first annoyed with how big the system was but after firing it up pleasantly surprised. The controller is better than the ps4 one being slightly larger making the ergonomics better. The system is quite. The few PS5 ready games such as Spider-Man and Cold War look very good and run at 60fps which is welcome from the normal 30fps you get on consoles. Also pleasantly surprised my pc usb wired headset works with the PS5 along with the sidetone function by inserting it into the Ps5 USB port. Works well in a desktop situation not so much the living room. I can recommend if you are into Sony exclusives.

PlayStation is GOATED as always
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a HUGE PlayStation fan boy ever since the PlayStation 2, and the PlayStation 5 genuinely does feel like a PS3 that was made for the current generation, in the best way possible. I love my PS5 and this will be the greatest gaming console for the next decade, no doubt about it!

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing console runs games like never before. First off the graphics are amazing running games at 4K and keeping a smooth 60 FPS to go with it, also the Load times are essentially gone (extinct) for a better of a word and most of all there’s a lot of games currently on the market and soon to be release exclusives, Also the level of immersion into some games is incredible I personally have never experienced this before but it can only be achieved by there revolutionary haptics feedback duel sense wireless controller, at first I thought it was a gimmick but it’s far from that really, but with that being said the experience so far has been amazing and I’m having a blast playing games again.

AWESOME CONSOLE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it was difficult to get one, it is well worth the pain, sweat and tears(lots of tears). The graphics are quite a step up from its predecessor and it is really fast. Loading times dropped significantly. The haptic feedback on the controller is zone specific and has a completely different feel.they don’t seem to last as long as the DS4 though so get 2 so you don’t have to be plugged in. The adaptive triggers provide haptic feedback as well. The new menu system is clean and easy to read and they made the store specific to your console which is nice since not all PS4 games work on it. I’m in love with mine, especially at a time when entertainment is scarce.

PlayStation 5 must have for gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have been debating on the ps5 or the Xbox without question but the ps5. I started with the Xbox due to I couldn’t find a ps5. It was cool but when I finally got my ps5 I was blown away by the design of the new system and controller. The new controller is really something that I’ve never experienced in playing games and can’t wait to see how they use this controller in future games. It really gives you a next gen console feel. I haven’t purchased any ps5 games yet for it but I have played some of my ps4 games that used to take forever to load and what a difference now they load in about 1/4 of the time. I highly recommend this system if you can find one.
