PS5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I want to talk about the service, which was amazing! My order came in a day early and I had no problems getting my PS5! Now the console; omg the graphics are like nothing else! Like I don’t like any of the Dark Soul’s games and yet I am playing Demon’s Soul’s just because the graphics are so beautiful! The haptic feed back is amazing, the console comes with a game it’s a robot game but when it rains you feel each raindrop hitting the controller! And the speed! And the frame rate! Everything is amazing!

Beautiful, wonderful, and overall, just amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s as good as you think it is and then some. It’s quiet, much quieter than the PS4 ever was. It’s bigger than you may think it is; it’s roughly the same height as my PC tower, which is a mid-tier. The graphics are incredible and the frame rate really makes a difference. It really helps to know what you’re doing when setting up, otherwise it might be a bit of a pain to get your save data over from your PS4, especially if you have multiple accounts on the same console. Other than that, it’s absolutely incredible. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s been years since I’ve played on a PS, and finally be able to buy one alone was exciting. I’ve been blown away by everything so far - the UI, fluidity of the UI, load up times, the games look absolutely amazing and the controllers are a delight to play with. I tried the Xbox One X and was sorely disappointed, so glad I returned it and waited to buy this. Can’t wait to build up my library and keep playing on this for years to come. If you can get one, buy it - it’s worth the wait and money.

PS5
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is simply amazing. I have an upgraded SSD in my PS4 Pro and the PS5 is much faster. Night and day difference when viewing PlayStation Store and load times for games. Would highly recommend Astros Playroom for first game. It’s free and extremely fun.

Believe the Hype!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although I had to have very fast fingers and some help from god to actually get one. I did and it’s great. It’s quiet, fast and gorgeous. Gameplay is beautiful and smooth as u would expect from next gen. BUT WHAT SEPERATES THE PS5 FROM THE COMPETITION IS THE CONTROLLER. Dual sense is amazing and it’s awesome how the triggers react. The haptic engines inside are truly next level and the motion sensors are the most accurate I’ve seen on any video game. Don’t give in to scalpers. Be patient and keep trying. It will be worth the wait! Don’t spend the extra you gonna want use that for games!!

Insanely good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The purchase experience: BestBuy had one of the best methods of getting the PS5. It was just a matter of getting on the website at the right time and then waiting in the queue once you added it to cart. I was lucky enough to get to the website quickly thanks to Octoshop as well. The PS5: It looks amazing in person - I liked the white color. Games load very fast and look amazing at 60fps. The controller itself is awesome. Astros playroom shows you the full potential of the haptics. It will be a while before all of the games start utilizing the full potential of the controller though.

PS5 review, is it worth buying?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is an awesome console, with great features, but I will start by detailing the negative, before detailing the positive. - PS5 asymmetrical design (compared to DE), color scheme (Black is better), size (it's the largest console in length (Xbox Series X is wider), storing a PS5 in a dimensionally fitted place for PS4/pro will not work. Only 825GB of storage, when most games are 100+GB this generation, $70 average game cost (that's a generation problem). The PS5 box is flimsy (for collectors). Lack of unique experiences. + PS5 SSD fast loading (it's just about instant), backwards compatible with most PS4/pro games. PS4 games work better, and have smoother frame rates (this is just the system's hardware upgrading the experience), the haptic feedback in the Dual Sense has great potential (it's like the Switch's Joycon HD rumble, but 2.0), Free full featured game "Astro's Playground", that utilizes the Dual Sense's features. Lastly unlike PS4/pro, PS5 can play Blu rays and UHD Blu rays on the system, and other media. The PS5 is an excellent system, and there's truly a bright future ahead for it. If you can get a PS5 I recommend the purchase, especially over the Digital Edition (options are always better). However it's not necessarily worth rushing out to buy right now. Games cost $70 on average, and there aren't many unique PS5 experiences yet (March 2021 - May 2021).

Fast and reliable, albeit a bit bulky.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the PS5 since March 2021. It's an excellent console. The controller is the biggest advantage over the Xbox. It does have expandable SSD m.2 nvme storage for those that are running out of space. Otherwise you can also add an external HD for PS4 games. I opted for the digital version since I didn't own a PS4 nor I like to own physical games. However if you own a bunch of physical games you should try and get the disc version. It's nice and modern looking but it's freaking huge! Reminds me of the chunky PS3.

Great Addition to the PlayStation Family!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great system! I love the new dashboard. It's different from the PS4, but once you get used to it, it's awesome. Load times for PS5 games are amazing. I can tell a difference in the load times and framerates of PS4 games played on my PS5 vs my PS4Pro. No regrets, no complaints, and no issues. External SSD works great with PS4 games stored on it. Here is a tip: To save space on the internal storage, turn off video recording of trophies. The PS5 will take a pic and record 15(?) seconds of video when you get a trophy. Leave the pics on, and turn off the vids.

Beautiful on screen and in your home
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sad news... I had a husband before this purchase. No longer. Jk. He does love this system. He has had every gaming system on the market since the late '80s and is quite the invested gamer. We wanted to get both the PS5 and the Xbox series X, but alas, no X for us yet. Kudos to Sony for getting the product out there. It is whisper quiet, looks like an alien spacecraft, and the controller is super interactive and fun to use. The graphics on the games I have seen are truly breathtaking. If you have a gamer in the house, this is worth the investment.

Wait for more games.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking at this page, then you know exactly what this is. All I can say is that the new games look really good, and the PS4 games with unlocked framerates run a whole lot better than on the PS4 pro. I runs significantly quieter than the PS4/PS4 pro, but it's much bigger. The main downside for me is the lack of controllers or addons that provide back buttons/paddles as of the time of this review. It'll probably take at least a year for Microsoft's studio acquisitions to start releasing some worthwhile games. Until then, I'd pick the PS5 over the XBOX Series X.

Amazing gaming console

Next gen gaming is here :)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everybody knows getting one of these since before launch was a pain. Regardless of all that, I was able to purchase mine safely and securely, and Best Buy was on top of that process. As for the console itself, I trust Sony, having all playstations 1-4, and by far, this is the best one yet :) this console is super fast, super quiet, awesome easy UI, and launch games are actually fun (4K graphics is serious eye candy). The controller is out of this world :) patience is a virtue, so for those still trying to purchase a ps5, it’s worth the chase :) next gen gaming is here!

5th Gen, 5 stars.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's finally here and it is AWESOME! Paired with the newly revolutionized Dual Sense controller. This console will definitely bring new excitement and experiences for years to come. Only played Astro's Playroom and Miles Morales but so far its been pleasure both visually and sensory as the Dual Sense controller brings a whole new level to the gaming experience. Also, its QUIET! I still have my launch PS4 and boy was it a jet engine until I got fed up and modded it by adding a cpu heatsink and 120mm fans. I don't think I will be doing any kind of mods (might paint the white panels) for this console as Sony designed an excellent cooling solution hence why the PS5 is so huge. The caveat is the storage size provided, With only 680GB of storage to utilize - it leaves a lot to be desired especially if you own a digital version where you only download your games. Hopefully Sony will enable the storage expansion soon to help alleviate that issue. Though it's still early because it's launched edition and problems could arise. I am hopeful this will last me throughout as all my other Playstations from the first in 1996 (Had my first PS2 broke due to my own fault tho).

Amazing product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I understand that this product is difficult to get access too. But, don’t give up. The quality of the system far surpasses that of its predecessors. The controller feels amazing! The haptic feedback and especially the adaptive triggers are out of this world. As a PC gamer, the I can’t get over the FPS and graphics quality that I can achieve with this system. Demon Souls rivals my PC which is insane. Overall I thought the process to purchase and acquire the system was easy thanks to Best Buy. They had a better system compared to other stores. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent system
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the system and very happy with all the frees games from PlayStation at launch. I love that you can bring over saves and library from ps4. Games look stunning and love how fast games load. Only downfall is the small storage size and size. Should have came standard with 2tb minimum hard drive. With lack of titles from both parties, definitely can wait a couple months to get one.
