    PS5 is worth it.

The PS5 is pretty cool but the controller is what steals the show. Feedback from in actions can be felt and heard from the controller and it really does an excellent job of immersion. The console is big however that is a non issue for me others may want to measure the space in which they want it to go. I like the feature of being able to vacuum the collected dust and dander out of a small port where it gathers. Not a lot of noise coming from it which is good compared to the original PS4 I still have.

Great console. The controller alone adds so much more emersion to a game. I have primarily gamed on a PC for the past few years and rarely used my PS4, but I have found myself wanting to play my PS5 more than my expensive gaming PC (unless it's an FPS game then a mouse + keyboard is where I'd rather play). There isn't a ton of games at the moment, but I revisited PS4 games which I thought didn't play very well on PS4, such as Days Gone, and have really enjoyed the better performance and load times.

This console is so much faster than the previous generation thanks to the SSD and improved specs, and the haptic feedback/loading times are impressive with new games! Storage is a bit tight with the internal storage allowing for ~670 GB and most games now between 40-100 GB. But the new software update allows for internal expansion if you feel comfortable opening up the slot and buying an SSD for $100 - $200 (I knew this going into it) to add 500 GB - 1 TB.

Coming from Xbox after 15yrs I can say this system actually feels premium and next gen. The controller really sets it apart with the enhanced features I hope games in the future will take advantage of. It’s expensive and there isn’t many next gen games I care to play right except Spider-Man. I’ve been playing older Ps5 games and the graphics look great. God of War looks next gen already

Better than the PS4! It runs a lot faster, the graphics are more crisp and clean looking, I like the menu design and how easy it is to navigate. The controller is probably the best part, it makes the games feel so much more immersive and the microphone/speaker on them is so much better than it was on the PS4. The way the controller rumbles and reacts to everything you do (in certain games that are compatible with this function) makes me feel like I'm there in the game.

NextGen is here, and I couldn't be happier! The faster load times, and gorgeous graphics, and amazing sound quality. Not to mention the DualSense Controller! What an amazing piece of tech. It truly makes gaming a true experience; everyone should be having. I could never go back to my old PS4; not after the time I've spend on my PS5. Thank you, Sony for this truly NextGen console. And thank you Best Buy for making buying it the best experience I ever had during this difficult time of scalpers.

I was lucky enough to get a PS5 via pre-order. And although there isn't an extensive list of PS5 exclusive games yet, I can truly appreciate how much faster this system loads games and how smooth the gameplay is. The controller is a real treat as well, I no longer want to use my Scuff controller for gaming. This next gen gaming is getting us console players closer to PC quality gaming via framerate, graphics and processing power. Looking forward to what this system will bring us in the future.

After using the PS5 for over a year, I can definitively say that this is the console to buy. The price to performance is fantastic, the first party titles are exceptional, and the DualSense controller adds this layer of interactivity that Xbox controllers simply lack. I’ve had both the disk and digital versions of this console, and I highly recommend getting the disk version since you can get many games dirt cheap on disk but not the PlayStation Store.

I was really after a gpu (3080) to complete my build but due to not being able to secure one on the BB drops I was lucky enough to get this for the time being. There's one annoying bug in the GUI where it will lock up from time to time forcing you to restart the console hopefully a future update will fix this issue. The PS5 controller is a worthwhile upgrade coming from a ps3/4 or even Xbox controllers. It has a built-in mic so no headset required and the mute button is placed in a convenient spot so you can easily use it when you don't want to be heard. The only neg about the controller or Sony controllers in general is poor battery life so if you use your console a lot be sure to buy the charging station and or have the charging cable ready to go but other than that, the controller is great. The console comes with a built-in 825 gigs of storage with 670 gigs available to use so if you have a large library of game an external hd drive is needed. USB 3 is the minimum so remember that if you're going the external drive route. Shame that the SSD expansion slot still isn't ready for use but will be in a future update so keep that in mind. Console is much bigger than the ps3/4 make sure you have some room for it and the included stand is very easy to use. As far as removing the covers it's very easy to do go online to see how to remove them and it only takes a couple of seconds. Also make sure you are using HDMI 2.1 to be able to take advantage of 120 fps as anything 2.0 and below will be capped at 60fps. If you're the type that cares about high frames then your monitor or tv must be HDMI 2.1 anything less will be hit or miss. I got this at MSRP so don't pay scalpers be patient my console hunters, your day to get one of these will come but you most remain patient.

I know they are very hard to obtain. But if one comes available and you are on the fence PULL THE TRIGGER. You will not regret it. Amazing graphics. Super fast load times. The haptic controllers are pretty insane and offers a whole new level of immersion. Couple that with 3D audio and woof. You are in for some serious fun. Also if you are a psremote app user on ipad or iphone you will also notice a improvement in remote play functionality. All around a incredible system

If you're able to get yours hands on this console it is amazing! Luckily I was able to follow accounts on twitter and got a notification when these were live on BB.com The console itself is pretty bulky in my opinion but it does look more modern and sleep compared to the series x or series s. The controller is also one of the coolest things about this system. It provides hepatic feedback when playing games which brings the gaming experience to a new level. Overall a great system so far.

The ps5 is amazing hardware with staying power. Load times are super fast, and it is completely silent unless authenticating a disc in the drive, which takes several seconds and then back to silence. Does not seem to get hot either. It is quite large, so it may not fit where your previous console went. The controller is also nice and well made. The 120 fps looks great on supported games, as long as your tv is capable of that. I am very pleased, and expect many hours of use in the future.

I’ve been trying to purchase the PS5 console for some time now. I was super excited when I was able to purchase one from Best Buy. It’s was totally worth the wait. Great graphics and the speed on loading games was significantly faster to than my PS4 console. It is also has a larger footprint as well, which I don’t mind because it looks sleek. The only issue would be storage space. I am definitely going to add an internal expansion SSD drive soon.

This is a fantastic machine. Navigation feels intuitive, games look sharp and run great. Besides that, DualSense is the most ergonomic controller ever. So far, finished Demon's Souls (beautiful remake) and playing Miles Morales and Guardians of the Galaxy. Playing feels immersive. Also, having access to all my PS4 games is awesome, just sold my old console - this is something I couldn't do when transitioning from PS3 to PS4.

It's a PS5, how can you not like it!? I have the Xbox and the Playstation, both have their benefits but what I enjoy about the PS5 is that there are more proprietary games for the Playstation. So if I was choosing between a console that has very few proprietary games, or the one that does.. it's a no brainer. Also, having the touch interface on the controller is great! It is also nice to have the option of adding the PS VR2 if I want.

What can I say, it’s PlayStation. All their systems have been great and have provided some of the best gaming in history. The PS5 is no different. With games like Demon’s Souls, Astrobot and Spider-Man Miles Morales, it has been great. Very soon it’ll have Returnal, Resident Evil Village and Ratchet and Clank with more to come. The dual sense controller has been amazing thus far especially with Astrobot. It’s a large system but looks sleek. Buy it if you can find it.

I love the PS5, the games do take a while to load when you first install them. The games also take up a lot more space (usually it can store like 6ish games). I got an external hard drive and it is working great so I don’t have to delete old games to make room anymore.

What a console!!! It’s hard to get for a reason. Huge upgrade over the PS4 in every way. The dual sense controller is quite heavy but is leaps and bounds better than the dual shock. The controller ergonomics are so much better than the last gen! Graphics on my LG CX OLED tv are phenomenal!!! HDR gameplay is just sick! Game play thus far has blown us away. On screen setup was easy but a bit long TBH. UI is fluid and awesome though. Plenty of USB ports on the front and back, super simple connectivity and it includes a quality HDMI cable. Only complaint is Sony still only includes one controller. It should come with 2!!! The console is huge!!!!! I have mine laying on its side with the included stand. Wish I had room to stand it up.
